Del Taco — Restaurant in Las Vegas

I know it's silly to review a fast food place, & I only do so if I feel it's necessary & will help others. I only came here cause it was impossible to get food elsewhere with the "life is beautiful" fest going on. I called to see if they were open since yelp didn't have the times available, & of course no one answered. lol so I decided to go to Taco Bell instead. Well, on the way to Taco Bell I saw that Del Taco was open so I went through the drive-thru. I ordered 2 seven layer burritos minus the cheese & sour cream. She said "we're out of lettuce". Really?! Then after I placed the order she said "we're only taking debit or credit since we don't have change." And of course I only had cash & didn't have the exact change! Eye roll well I still didn't mind at all cause I hadn't eaten ALL DAY so I just let her keep the change so I could eat. Now here's where I got irritated: my 2 burritos came to $9.60, & these burritos looked pathetic! First of all - if I'm ordering a burrito with NO CHEESE OR SOUR CREAM, & you are OUT OF LETTUCE, wouldn't a person with common sense assume that the person is a vegan & substitute the cheese, sour cream & lettuce with MORE beans, rice, etc?!? UGH SO IRRITATING!!! There was hardly ANY FOOD at all in the middle or end of the burrito! I couldn't believe what I was looking at lol I would have attached a pic but like I said (I was starved) so I just inhaled them. After eating these LOUSY half-a** burritos I went to TACO BELL (where I should've went to begin with) & got a seven layer burrito with POTATOES ADDED for only $3.56!!!! And yes - they had plenty of lettuce & change. LOL Lesson learned. Never...

We pulled straight up to the drive thru to order and were asked to wait. After several minutes I said, I'm ready to order." But again was asked to wait. After over 8 to 10 minutes I finally placed our order, then waited about the same amount of time to receive the food.

We ordered a number 8 with a medium iced tea, a $5 epic queso chicken burrito and one of each of the new beyond meat tacos with hard shell.

As we pulled away she said she comped us fries for having to wait, but after we checked our order, there was only one fry which came with the number 8.

The 5 dollar epic queso chicken burrito looked like a 99 cent taco bell thing. It had about 2 to 3 tablespoons of filling altogether and I'm not even sure it was what I ordered.

This happened during work time (around 3-3:30) and I was with my supervisor who was afraid it would be gross. Unfortunately his opinion was only swayed further negative as it was terribly inconvenient and there weren't that many customers.

The order totalled just under 20 bucks (19 & change) and took over 20 minutes to complete.

The Beyond Meat tacos were great, especially the avocado one, but not worth a wait like that. I could've made them myself at home in that time and saved money.

I'm sure I'll try it again sometime, but it'll be a while. I'm hoping this isn't typical for this location. If it is, I hope they make some positive...

Worried about homeless outside so piled in with window up then rolled half way down to ask lady to hold on a minute to take order forgot to role window up again specking to husband in car about what we were going to order the lady said through speaker if you take that man’s order I will not let you order I said excuse me I am talking to my husband in the car I haven’t even said a word to that man nor has he even said a word to me she copped an attitude and said to me have a nice day so of course I couldn’t order and was stuck in drive-through waiting for other cars didn’t knowMy window was still down the homeless man wasn’t even close to my car she made assumptions the employee and lost a customer always there she was very rude and shouldn’t make Assumptions that everyone is like the people that hang around there very disappointed and this Del taco and the employee working tonight Thursday, August 19 approximately 10:50 PM management could you please have your employees Treat their customers especially ones in the drive-through in a car she’s looking through the window she should see them gentleman was not even close to the car my window was pretty much almost all the way up thank you for your service for all these years I probably won’t be able to come back there that was very rude and I was very nervous as it was driving up to the drive-through with somebody...
