This has been my families go to breakfast place since their Lake Mead opening, we decided to come check out their new location on Charleston and was very disappointed. I’m never one to complain or send food back no matter how inedible it may be. We did come on Father’s Day so we knew what to expect for the long wait, this isn’t what bothered us. The atmosphere was very off, it felt like the restaurant was running off a swamp cooler. Very humid and hot, the tri-color chilaquiles are one of my favorite items on this menu, I always go with the verde however the steak and eggs were covered and not well presented as their Lake Mead location, the tortilla was incredibly soggy, and the salsa verde was OVERLY salted. My wife ordered herself a small side as she had a big craving for their chilaquiles which are usually a 10/10. Today, they were 2/10. We were extremely disappointed. Our daughter’s bacon was smothered in grease, pancakes were soft on top and hard on the bottom. The food came out in two different delivery times and when we asked the girl for a share plate, we never got one. Martha was our server, she was great but her team members weren’t as attentive when we requested certain things. We were ignored and our requests were unfulfilled. I hope the Lake Mead location hasn’t gone down in quality seeing as this location was sub par at best. We come to show love and support for a locally growing family chain in Las Vegas but I can’t convince myself to give anything past a 1 star. I hope this location lives up to the same hype as their first one. Probably won’t go here again but my try the Lake Mead one in the...
Read moreWhen driving up to the place you think two things. One, where will I park and two, this place must be very good. I didn't actually have to wait for parking that long. Under 3 minutes. Also it was on a Saturday morning. They have bench seating even outside of where you check in your party which is a nice gesture especially for those who need/want to sit while waiting in line. The servers were on the go at all times. So we waited under 20 minutes which showed just how quickly the service was. The placed was a little crammed up it seemed like but, walked through the aisles with no problems. The agua fresa drinks are made from concentrated. Unfortunately. The liquados were made well. All there dishes seemed like they had a little of that spicy . It tasted really great except, not everyone such as a person in my group can handle and amount of it. There fresh coffee from their pot was delicious. Lorenzo was the server. He was quick. He was knowledgeable about what they had. His suggestions were tried with appreciation. With one of the plates having a piece of shell from the egg still, I let them know so they could mention to the chefs. I know you guys are busy and all but dont rush to where it becomes a growing mistake. The noise level was perfect unlike those other places that have music so loud you can't even hear yourself think. I heard it was like a Spanish Dennys. I reminds me more of Eli's on the eastside. As if they was its sister. Maybe they are? It was priced well compared to other places. I think I went in there with higher expectations. Overall...

So I will admit I've been waiting my turn to come and enjoy this place. I've driven by and saw the parking lot full and figured next time I was up early it would be MY turn. And you know what, today I had early o'clock errands. Can we say that pancake flight became the instant craving.
Upon entering was quickly greeted and ushered over to a booth. Menus were given and drink order was taken. We started out mild, hot Tea, coffee, and water.
We opted for the Waffle Combo, Chorizo Skillet, Pancake Flight of course, bacon, hashbrowns, and yes a Mimosa Flight with an extra mini Strawberry Mimosa. Now can I say this was well worth the wait.... Most def. Can I say Pancakes are becoming my love language. Yes indeed. Nothing disappointed in the slightest.
Interior is huge. If you've been to the location on Lake Mead you'll notice a difference. Don't let the parking lot fool you. Everything was very clean. Music was playing in the background. And our server Rosy was fabulous. She took very good care of my table.
Would most def recommend- pricing for the portions and quantity of the food is very reasonable. The customer service we received was very hospitable and courteous. Can't wait to come back and try some of their other dishes.
