We booked a room in the Economy, and when we arrived were told that we had been transferred to a different motel 4 miles away (the Las Vegas Chalet Motel in North Vegas). We got there and noticed it was conveniently located right by the North Vegas police station, and the jail. We explained ourselves to the manager on duty, and he transferred us back downtown (which was GREAT!) to the "Alpine Motel", and gave us the rooms at the original rate which was awesome because the price had increased dramatically, it being memorial day weekend. The room we got at the alpine was covered in pubic hair, there were holes in the walls, cockroaches, the bathroom sink was falling off the wall, and the carpet smelled like the foetid reek of a thousand dead junkies. On the plus side, there was a working fridge to keep our beer cold, and it was right by the concert venue we were going to. All of the managers at each of the hotels were EXTREMELY FRIENDLY, and very helpful. It was our mistake for booking rooms at a place that also rented by the week or month. These motels are NOT for the faint of heart, or keen of smell, but the room at the alpine, though nasty, was quiet, and nobody broke in and stole our stuff while we were gone. If you are booking at the Economy, I suggest that you contact the motel staff itself rather than the booking company (Agoda - located in a different country, with no idea what's going on) and confirm which location you will actually be staying at. Once again, the staff at all three motels were very very awesome, and very helpful, but for $35 bucks a night, you get what...

The TV was supposed to be mounted on the wall but instead they had it laying on its back against the dresser drawer. I guess the neighbor found it acceptable to place chair in front of my door every 2-3hours to smoke marijuana. They did not have any heat, the manager had to find a personal heater which I guess made him angry because he rolled the heater in my room with force and didn't say anything else to me. I'm guessing they are charging the outrageous prices that they were charging because they have a brand new BMW that they take care of better than the rooms in their property. No fridge, no Microwave, and when I went to get a towel off of the metal towel holder the wall was so weak that it left a big hole when it fell down. If someone were to come to your country and start a business don't you believe that your people would deserve the best treatment. No effort whatsoever placed into this property. I wish I could be refunded. Oh yeah they never answer their phone! Which is why you may have to receive a call back from them if they remember. Good luck...
ย ย ย Read moreWORST MOTEL EVER!!! I decided to visit Las Vegas because they had the Power Brands Glam there that year. I wasn't looking for anything special. I just wanted a place to get some rest the night before the convention. The motel didn't look too good from the outside but I presumed the room would make up for that by being decent. I thought wrong! As soon as I entered the room I was hit by this putrid smell of cigarettes and stinky socks. The room was filthy and the bed looked very dirty. It was TERRIBLE! I decided to open the windows and light some Lord Shiva incense that my wife Bishakha packed for me. Thank Vishnu I only had to be there for one night. In summary this is the worst place I have ever slept at and this is coming from a guy that grew up in the slums of India. I wish I had never booked a room there. Their prices are low but not worth it. You are better off sleeping in a parking garage. I will burn my clothes as soon as I get home. I just want people to know how bad it is before they make the same...
