I retract my prior statements, I’ll start off by saying women are not safe here or in the neighborhood, I was assaulted a couple of days ago. The area is very crime ridden, and I grew up in south central and I can easily say this is worse. They say adults only but a lady and her four children stayed in the room next to me. The room from day one had these little bugs coming out of cracks in the wall and drain I think. Every few days I would have to completely wipe everything down with lemon Lysol and spray a barrier of raid. I will never give them my money again, they do not abide by the ADA at all, if you have disabilities stay away because they do not care. If you ask them for a reasonable modification in accordance with ADA SEC36.208, you will be denied even if it’s of NO COST to them. People with disabilities need to be aware of their rights and assert them Hotels are REQUIRED to fulfill requests for reasonable accommodations that do not place an undue burden or cost on the business. I let them know personally my disabilities because while they may be invisible they are very real. They still chose to violate federal law. If you have a disability, advocate for yourself and if they still ignore you let the Nevada equal rights commission and 150,000 fine open their ears instead. I left and I won’t ever be back, I don’t stay where I’m not welcomed nor respected. What a shame.

My husband and I were planning to stay here for 2 nights, but there are 2 reasons why we had to leave early. The first was mainly because my husband signed up for a bicycle race, which unfortunately got canceled due to the weather. The 2nd was when my dog went after a cat as we came outside the room that caused me to fall down, and I got hurt because of the step designed on the ground. It caused me injuries on both my ankles and my hands, although it was my right ankle that hurt more so. My husband had to go to different stores just to get me a bandage for my ankle, and I had to take aspirin to ease the pains all night long! Room 30 didn't have a bath, and it didn't have any hand soap either. We were also frustrated because the front door was hard to open and close!

Beautifully restored motel in an historic part of downtown Las Vegas. Rooms are fantastic and the owners have made it friendly and safe. The area is under revitalization and is not fully rebuilt yet so there are some unique individuals on the streets but also many tourists walking between the hotel and the Fremont experience. I felt it was safe and interesting, but a $3 Uber ride would get you downtown without having to walk. The front desk was extremely helpful in explaining all about visiting downtown Las Vegas.

I just wanna say, Natalie is very sweet, and definitely did her best to accommodate the situation (at least with her kindness) and we definitely appreciate that she let us check in late (as we hit some traffic)... She would be an excellent manager elsewhere... but y'all this motel needs some work... we tried to look for somewhere else to stay that was better, but it was EDC weekend and everything was booked :/

The cockroaches :( quite a few under the bed, under the curtains, a big boy ran across MY PARTNER'S FOOT while he was using the restroom, one was scurrying around while we took a shower... awful. She said there would be a bug guy coming... but that still doesn't take back the ickyness my poor partner experienced.. Unfortunately, one of the shower adapters didn't work and the overhead faucet didn't have have the best water pressure... not very enjoyable for something that was advertised as "newly renovated". We kept finding LARGE shards/pieces of glass on the floor, one of which I stepped on while organizing clothes. I had to pull a PEA SIZE PIECE out of my the ball foot, major ouchie y'all. :( I was supposed to wear platforms for EDC, but was in quite a bit of pain so couldn't wear them because it kept bleeding and the pressure from the boots I guess was just too much on the wound :( When I went to talk about this, the man behind the counter was standoff-ish and didn't really acknowledge the situation. Natalie attempted to come talk about it, (and apologize as I guess they thought they had cleaned all the glass prior to us checking in)... and he blantly disrespected with her with a very threatening, hasty and nasty tone... due to a history of trauma, honestly.. he scared me. So I wasn't even able to feel comfortable enough to show him my bleeding foot... and judging by the beginning of the interaction, he would not have likely cared anyways... also made it difficult for me to feel comfy going to even ask for toilet paper after that point... (we were only given less than 1/2 a roll for 2 people for a 4 night stay... luckily we had some wipes that we used and just threw away instead of flushing). It was a tub room, so the room was all tile. But, the title on the floor was cracked in many locations, and due to so many random pieces of glass, I had to wear socks the entire time... which kept getting snagged/ripped on the the sharp, jagged, edges of the tile that were broken... bummer. The lighting was quite poor, and there were no outlets in the bathroom, and with no other mirror, curling hair/getting ready for any event (we were there for EDC LV 2023) was quite difficult. If you are just looking for somewhere to crash, and you don't care about bugs, go for it. But if you're trying to get hyped, ready, feel totally cozy, and vibe out, this ain't it y'all... it has the potential to be though... I am honestly hoping we can find a way to either be refunded or at least partially for our stay... my foot, anxiety, my few pairs of ripped socks, and mental well-being would appreciate some...

At a glance, the room we had was kind of cute. You can tell they made an effort to upgrade and modernize an old motel, but you can also tell it was done by a handyman. Wouldn't have minded staying here except the room was absolutely disgusting and I have pictures to prove it! First of all it was very hot so we turned on the window AC. It was cold, but filthy as hell and noisy too! The adjustable vent was broken so it kept spinning. We had to grab some trash and wad it up and wedge it in the slats to stabilize it. Furthermore it looked like it had never been cleaned, EVER! There was also dried up food stuck to it. So gross! It was very loud and noisy making an annoying whizzing sound. The window sill had dead bugs in it and the windows were very dirty. The nightstand was old and covered with cigarette burn marks and water stains. It looked like old furniture someone left on the side of the road. The bathroom sink was gross and not only had cigarette burns on it but there were also ink or hair dye stains. There were also hairs in the sink! It is customary to leave a new extra roll of toilet paper in the bathroom, they left a half used roll sitting on the tank. The mirror was dirty. The shower was dark with no light source and the fixtures were dirty and not wiped down. The bed was a foam mattress with a cheesy velour blanket and the pillows were old and flat. The pillowcases were disgusting and had a stain on one of them. My first impression when looking at the roughly folded pile of towels was,...well, these don't look very pleasing to the eye as they were not neatly folded, but when looking closer at each towel, they were stained!! Looked like these were used to scrub the floors or wipe down a dirty car. Please look at all my photos! What kind of place of business in the Motel industry puts these types of linens in a guest's room??? The TV asked us to sign up for Roku and we couldn't watch anything at all. The walls were thin and we could hear the people next door talking. Unfortunately after driving for hours to get to Las Vegas, it was too late to go anywhere else and we had no choice but to stay here. Thankfully, I had a container of Clorox wipes in my car as well as a couple of pillows and blankets. I have no idea what some of these reviews are talking about regarding "very clean rooms." Our room was filthy and disgusting! I would've asked for a refund, but upon check out, I knocked and knocked on the unmarked office door and nobody was there. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. There are also families that live here with kids riding their bikes throughout the...

Avoid this place at all costs. I tried to book a room 3 days ahead in June, 2021. I received an email saying the request was received, but that it was pending confirmation. By the end of the next day I'd still not received a confirmation, so I began calling the hotel. I spoke with multiple people, none of whom would confirm my reservation for me or give me any information. One of them actually told me I'd "called too early for their computers to be on, so [I'd] have to call back" (maybe their computers are late sleepers, who knows?). Finally I reached somebody who said she'd at least call me back with more information, which of course never happened. With my trip now one day away, I got nervous that I wouldn't have a place to stay and ended up booking elsewhere. Then I got a text from a Desert Moon employee confirming the reservation (very casually, no confirmation email, confirmation ID, or anything of the sort) the day before I was set to leave, at which point I explained to him that I'd booked elsewhere because I'd received no confirmation or information from the hotel, despite numerous attempts to reach them across the last day and a half. He never responded. I then received an official confirmation email eight hours after my check-in time (at 10 PM the night of the stay, as if I was going to wait around until 10 PM after arriving in Las Vegas to check into my hotel), as well as a charge for the full room price on my credit card. After attempting to contact them and kindly explain the situation in a reasonable way, they ultimately stopped responding. The place is disorganized at best, a total...
