Went here to get recalls fixed on my car in December. Gave my keys to Joe, and dropped my car off. Received phone call to pick up car an hour or so later because car is fixed. I arrive and can't find Joe. I talk to someone else who passes me off to someone else. I stand around for twenty minutes being ignored and unassisted as they used construction as an excuse for chaos. I finally start getting agitated by the lack of respect to simply pick up my car with no greeting, information or assistance. I ask a young guy passing by in a mechanic shirt where my keys are and he admits to me, that they lost them.
I start asking questions and asking for management and no one assists me. Someone in sales calls the valet who has my keys and took them off property. I called later and spoke to management. They offered a complimentary AC diagnostic check since my AC was not running cold on my next visit. I asked for written documentation to prove this as I didn't trust them to stay true to their word after the way I was treated.
Fast forward to February, I make an appointment to get my AC checked out. Sure enough upon arrival they didn't know what I was talking about. When I first walk in, there's no greeting from the eight employees talking to each other. I walk up to counter, and was offered to get checked in and was pawned off to the next guy, who was having a pow wow with his coworker and I had to wait for them to finish their conversation. This occured three times in the course of two minutes. Finally given to Joe because "you're his customer".
Before the appointment, I verified the recalls were fixed with the nhtb website and it says no work has been done. I asked about this and was given an answer that didn't make sense and said that he will make sure it will be reported.
Contacted by text mid day that I will have quote in an hour. I wait two to be nice before I follow up. Given another answer by Joe that didn't make sense. Said car will be done today by 5 pm, but that didn't make sense because I didn't authorize repairs on my AC yet.
Contacted an hour before closing with an estimate of $670 to recharge my AC. When asked for more details, I had to pull teeth for information. My car takes normal freon R134 A, I was quoted price for R1234yf. I told him to go check underneath the hood for verification.
He admitted that I was right abd he didn't place the order. I asked for price of the correct freon and it was $470. I declined as I wasn't comfortable with them working on my car at this point. Was given 45 minutes to pick up car before they close. I rush down there to get it. No greeting from anyone, no Joe either. Just a guy wanting to read what they did from a paper and said no AC diagnosis was done. He read all the recall repairs that was done today which proved that no work had been done in December when they lost my keys.
When asked for paper quote of appropriate freon charge, it was denied as they already texted it and can't print texts the guy said, condescendingly. Thanked him for not losing my keys this time and told him I won't be back so that's quite ok. He can keep his ink. Upon starting my car, I am suspicious that any work has been done at all as my battery showed no signs of being disconnected for such work that it would...
Read more*Update- My husband was able to speak with Brian. He and Jojo made things right. Too bad that it comes to leaving a review for it to happen though. Those 2 were great and had wonderful communication skills. Only updated to 3 stars because of all the other frustrating encounters we have had. *This is the MOST frustrating service department I have EVER had to deal with. They have no communication skills. I would get rid of our Hyundais just so I wouldn’t have to deal with this place again. Anytime we take our cars in, we have to call to see when our car will be complete. They do not proactively contact us. We have had several occasions where they said our car would be complete same day and it wasn’t. Their Customer Service is non existent. We would call over and over until we finally get someone. I feel like they use the same excuse over and over that their systems went down. You would think they would communicate that with customers. We have tried to leave the service manager messages but we never receive a call back. The only reason for 2 stars is because recently we had an issue and Gilbert, the General Manager, called us back and actually helped us. Fast forward to today. For the 2nd time in 6 months our check engine light went on and we believe it’s the fuel injectors AGAIN on our 33k mile Santa Fe. Obviously this service center didn’t correctly fix the issue the first time. We called and left Gilbert 2 messages today and he has yet to contact us. Neither has the Service Manager. Now we are without our car again and they say we can’t bring it in until Monday afternoon. We are about to make a complaint with the State and to Hyundai directly. This Service Center has been...
Read moreComing from Hawaii, and always used Tony Hyundai Service Center for my car maintenance. This kind of resembles them kind of structurally but not in service. Previous visit, after my recommended mileage package. I noticed the tire pressures on the front passenger side was extremely low, and the other tire pressures not all the same. Front driver side was at 30, front passenger was at 25, rear right passenger side was 34, and rear right passenger side was at 36. The most recent visit. I informed the front desk staff of the previous experience plus the incident on the front passenger tire. Keeps decreasing in pressure. He assured me that they will take care of it. Mentioned after the appointment that there was a nail and etc and the mechanic took care of it when they rotated my tires. The staff seemed trustworthy, however when I was driving home. I checked the tire pressures and they were not similar in PSI... same experience as the previous with different variable PSI's on each tire. I paid the Platinum service but received the the lesser. When I picked up my car.. The Staff that washed my vehicle left their grey microfiber towel with door panels still wet. No worries. I got a free micro fiber towel I guess and used it to clean all the other wet surfaces. Their multi-point inspection form did not reflect the front desk staff stating that a nail was found and the tire was repaired. Doesn't not even reflect on the receipt that I was given (invoice) I don't want to blast the staff name here but my customer # was 1009106. Very disappointed on how I received my vehicle after paying a...
