Grouchy John's Coffee — Restaurant in Las Vegas

Really delicious coffee with a lot of interesting and unique flavors. The inside of this place is decorated beautifully for what it’s trying to achieve. The staff was friendly.

My only complaint is the food, I got a breakfast pocket that was clearly frozen or refrigerated & then microwaved, which wouldn’t really be an issue if they didn’t have ovens in the back.. why not just heat it in there? The microwaving caused it to be super stale and gross. It tasted good but I just couldn’t finish it because of the texture it got due to the microwave.

My husband got a “cinnamon roll” which is what they called it on the menu but it was actually just one of those cinnamon swirl donuts with a glaze which is also fine but I wish they would call it what it actually is. Also I am suspicious that these donuts were bought from somewhere else and resold here because they taste & look absolutely no different than one you would get at a gas station.

We ended up spending $25 for two drinks, a donut and a breakfast pocket. Not impressed with the price vs the freshness of the food but I get it with the economy we are in right now I guess.

Again, beautiful place with amazing coffee so lots of potential. But stepping up the pastry game here would def make me want to...

A coworker recommended this spot and so we went here for the first time today. Everything seemed pretty excellent from the atmosphere to the staff. Really seems like our kind of coffee shop. Took our lattes to go. We got home and realized the flavor my hubby ended up with was different from the order. The cup said the correct order so just figured they put the wrong flavor.

We had ordered oat milk as hubby can’t have dairy. The wrong drink seems to have been dairy as he’s been sick for the past hour or so (in the way dairy makes him sick). He’s down for the count for the rest of the evening. :-( If you have specific dietary needs, be very clear about that and check your drink before you leave. We should’ve been more cautious when we realized it was the wrong flavor. Also posting this review to hopefully raise the level of awareness for the staff. We are excited for this coffee shop in the area. Plenty of coffee and food options. Regular and flavored coffee. Lots of seating. We visited on a Friday morning around 0930 and it wasn't busy. At around 10 am, about 10 more people came in. Our order came out relatively fast. Food was hot and tasted good. At this time we rate the place 4 stars because all the tables were dirty with crumbs on them and there was no option to sit at a clean table. Other guests were clearly displeased and also looking for a clean place to sit. When we came in, 2 employees were just standing by the register watching TV. There is definitely plenty of opportunity to clean off the tables before the next rush. I'm sure this will be corrected with a little training and no ill will of the staff. We look forward to making this our local coffee shop and updating the review to 5 stars on our next visit.
