Smoothie King — Restaurant in Las Vegas

I usually love this place. I go once in a blue before or after my doctor's appointments. So normally I'd give 5 stars. It's smoothies, so how can they be messed up? When you have teenagers and not one adult in charge. Little things like that can go wrong.

The young girl who took my order sweet as can be, and the young guy who made it was so kind, and everything was on point, just like a normal day! Beautiful morning, quick service, and everything. However, as I mentioned, minor things can lead to big things. I ordered a 44oz. Angel Food is my favorite go-to for breakfast. Well, I take the first sip, and I'm hit with an old rancid milk and mildew taste. As if the blender that was used for multiple smoothies throughout the previous day sat overnight with water in it for a while, and then it wasn't washed out properly that night or morning. Boom, in goes my ingredients. I figured, maybe it was me. It was not. I took a few more sips, DISGUSTING 🤢. Completely ruined it for me, I will probably never get an Angel Food again.

I go back in after debating myself. I really hate complaining about things, but 20 plus dollars for a smoothie, l expect perfection. The girl apologizes and offers to make a new smoothie. Great, no problem, how it should be. I say please give me a different flavor, though, because I legit keep getting this nauseating feeling just thinking about those sips. I got Banana Boat, something I didn't want. My name is called, and now I have a 32 oz. I didn't have but 3 sips of my first smoothie. Why would I not get the exact same size back? Again, TWENTY PLUS DOLLAR'S. So now I have to point that out, and I get attitude from I believe the manager. She's like, "So this is the 3rd remake now?" With one of these 👉🏾🙄 Granted, she's talking to the young lady who initially took my order. She was rude to the girl and made it seem like I was a bother. She wasn't professional at all. Especially since she was being loud enough on purpose so I could hear. The girl that had to make it again is slamming stuff around as she makes it and then slams my cup down when she finishes.

It's not my fault that y'all messed up and, as a paying customer, it really pissed me off. I could've gotten sick from the bacteria. My time was wasted as well, and I really should've just asked for my money back. I didn't even want it and didn't even finish it because it was liquid now and not a smoothie, but I was so over...

Besides the fact that their smoothies are overpriced, the girl that works there, Myesha, has a terrible attitude. She is the one who is there every time I have went there. She does not greet any customer, with a hello, how ya doing, nothing. She is monotone, non-expressive and forget trying to make small talk as she does not respond to that either. And a thank you have a nice day doesn't exist in her vocabulary either. And the manger/franchisee John or something like that, drives a pick up truck, and he is just as rude as he does not engage in the customers patroning his business when he is inside. He also parks right in front of the business with no purpose other than to take up customer parking and can't park within the lines so 2 spots are taken. It is of my opinion that they think their smoothies will carry the weight and that their attitudes will not have a bearing on the customer base. Well, I am here to say that I will not be back. They need new management and employees.

I need to start off with how much we LOVE smoothie king! We have always gone to the Sahara location. The young men who work there are awesome and truly know what they are doing. Plus, the Sahara location offers a 40% military discount! The smoothies there are literally smooth and you can taste the real fruit used.

This Buffalo location however, offers what I will call flavored sugar and ice drinks. I will attach the picture of my daughters chocolate smoothie full of ice chunks once i figure out how. I've never in my life ever had a smoothie that tasted so awful, and was so poorly made. I can't even finish it, either can my children. This locations military discount is $1 😂 you have been warned! Do not waste your time or money, unless you like chewing on ice with your smoothie and drinking pure sugar.
