Flowing Tide Pub 8 — Restaurant in Las Vegas

This was our first time visiting this location as it seems like they just opened and we were excited to visit and try out the food! Our server was friendly and ready to get started with our order. We had ordered a Starter, "the Tider Tots with a wing sauce" and we chose the Mesquite BBQ as it was recommended by the server. We also ordered the Anchor Burger, the Pacific Salmon Sandy and a House Salad. It took about 10 to 15 minutes to receive our meal but our main dishes where brought out to us first instead of the Starter and House Salad. We inquired about the Starter and Salad and if they where still coming and the server said something along the lines of sorry, etc. and went back to grab them. While our server was away, we noticed that we did not have any napkins or silverware to eat our food. Once she came back after about 3 minutes, we asked nicely and she did bring those out promptly. Now, the Tider Tots were brought out with a side of buffalo sauce and we brought this up to the server and the server mentioned that the chef didn't think we would have liked our sauce tossed in so they gave us a side cup sauce that didn't match the order. The server then took back sauce as she agreed it wasn't the right sauce and then came back out with the Mesquite BBQ. The Mesquite BBQ is a dry rub and cannot be put on the Tider Tots as a sauce so we asked for ranch instead to make up. That was a bit of a let down as we were really looking forward to that. As for the Anchor Burger, the fried bacon did not seemed cooked at all like it was taken out of the fryer too early. The outside of the bacon crust was crisp but the bacon itself was limp. As for the taste of the burger, it was bland. The house salad was really good so I scraped everything off the plate to make up for the burger. My wife enjoyed the Pacific Salmon Sandy although the server had come back twice while it was being cooked, first to ask what seasoning she wanted on it and then a second time asking if it was the sandwich or entrée. On a side note, we also were never offered refills on the water. Now in all fairness, we do understand that the restaurant just opened and know that all the kinks from opening a new business will need to be ironed out so we wanted to make sure to leave honest feedback and hope our review helps...

We went there super early on a Friday night and we're shocked at how packed it was at around 4:30.

Service was incredible freindly. We sat down and someone was at our table within 60 seconds or less with a warm smile and menus. She explained their awesome happy hour deals and a few menu points of interest. Service was attentive but not pushy or over the top.

We had a some tradional apps like wings and nachos split a burger. I was scared to try much else at a bar ... but honestly I was pretty impressed. They have other foods like pastas salad and 24 hr breakfast. They seemed to really take pride in their food and they were supper accommodating with modifications. I would definitely consider it elevated bar food.

I kinda people watched and all of the staff seemed freindly and happy working there no one who walked in waited more than a min or teo for someone to say hey and had drinks in their hands even quicker. The theme is really fun they have some nice murals and interesing video walls that make you seem underwater in a submarine. If you like a dingey dirty dive bar this isn't the place. It kinda just feels like a 21 and up resturant vs a bar bar.

I am actually looking forward to visiting again in the near future it was a good get away close to home for some decent well priced food. My only comment would be maybe it would be nice to have more games? They had the normal video pokers at the bar but nothing really to do otherwise we might have stayed a little longer if there was pool or board games or darts or something but I'm not positive this was the sorta place you stay for hours or just sit and enjoy a good meal and a drink...

I have only ordered DoorDash delivery from here a couple times now. This place’s food is amazing! I order in since I’m busy at home most of the time and don’t have the time to run out. I’ve ordered the fish and chips as well as the bacon blue cheese burger and I had to stop what I was doing this morning to make a review just based on these 2 experiences. The fish and chips were absolutely perfect! I’m not a huge fan of beer batter but, even delivered, the fish was crispy! And I was happy that the fish didn’t taste fishy, it was super fresh. I love the fries, they’re crispy as well and nice and hearty, I’m not missing out on potato and they’re seasoned perfectly. I’m a savory girl so I was also pleasantly surprised by how amazing the coleslaw was. Not many people like blue cheese but I have to say, it goes great! I normally hate coleslaw. It was simple and delicious. The burger I tried was exemplary. It was so big, I had to save some for the next day and it was still so fantastic heated up, the bun didn’t get squishy or anything! The veggies were fresh and the burger was the perfect temperature despite being delivered. I had fries and of course I had to get some of the coleslaw. I really love how they use a tamper proof to-go bag. It makes me feel like they really care about the food safety and quality, plus they never forget the napkins and utensils. I will definitely be eating here a lot more. I neeeeeeed to try some more things, I bet they’re so tasty. My mouth is watering just...
