I've eaten from this restaurant maybe half a dozen times before in the last 1.5 years, and the quality of their food has always stayed consistently good. They serve New York style Chinese food here, and that is sometimes a nice change of pace from the more traditional Chinese food in Chinatown. There aren't many good options for Asian food in the NW part of town, so it's convenient for anyone who lives here too. Portions are always LARGE or priced accordingly for the smaller portions. Dishes always have a hearty amount of sauce, but the sauces tend to be thinner, so you can easily adjust the amount of sauce on your food. Crispy wonton strips are always served for free with any dine-in meal. There are lots of menu options, so there is something for everyone here.
This time, I ordered a large wonton soup and my partner ordered sesame chicken with lo mein noodle upgrade. The wontons were larger than any others I've had at other Chinese restaurants. The soup was flavorful, and there was a good ratio between wontons/soup/vegetables. The sesame chicken was flavorful with lots of sesame seeds and soft breading; there was no separation of breading in any of the chicken. Again, HUGE portion. The lo mein noodles were good enough to eat by themselves.
They've switched over to a counter-serve style restaurant and reduced their seating capacity, likely to accommodate the rising costs of keeping a restaurant open nowadays. I'm assuming this is 1 way they keep their prices the same, so that's appreciated for anyone who is trying to budget financially. Service has always been friendly and timely here; I've never had to wait long to speak to someone or be served. Ambiance is a quiet space with more subtle Chinese decorations sprawled throughout. There's an even amount of lighting throughout the restaurant, but none of it is too brightly lit (noted for potentially neurodivergent customers).
I've never had a complaint here and will...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLas Vegas, if you are not eating at Asian Wok you are truly missing out. First off letās talk about the prices. The prices are great for what you get. We ordered the dinner combos and it did not disappoint. The dinner combos come with 1 veggie spring roll, 1 crab Rangoon and whatever dish you pick.(roughly $13-$15) We went with the chicken chow mein and general tso chicken and it was AMAZING. The best chicken chow mein of our lives. (Hands down) these are also Huge portions.
The second time around we ordered the lemon chicken and sesame chicken and we were blown away with the flavors and excellence of texture.
Now onto the customer service. My husband went to pick up and he was blown away with this family ran business. The son of maybe of 10 years old was at the register. All I got to say is he is going to give a lot of people a run for their money when he gets older. He is an everyoneās dream child of kindness and polite and already a hard worker. You could just tell his parents did a great job.
The second time we ordered I had the pleasure of going in and the whole family thanked us for ordering our food and actually tried to get to know us. This is such a special touch that so many businesses have lost over the years.
100 out of 10 recommend this place. If you love to support local family businesses you have to come here and eat. Letās keep local spots open and support our community.

They were stale, hard as a rock and hardly any cream cheese! I also ordered Happy Family and it was drenched in sodium. $60 worth of food...down the drain! Very disappointed!ššAlmost forgot their beef and broccoli is nasty too! The texture of the meat is so strange and rubbery. All fat. No taste. Straight NASTY
After several years since making this review I decided to give them on more chance. Omg I'm sorry I did. I ordered sweet and sour chicken dish and I'm not sure if this is even chicken. It looks so nasty and it was super oily. My husband and I thought it was fish mixed with fake meat. Ripped a piece in half to show. Wth are they using for chicken??? So disgusting!!! We couldn't eat it! Waste of money. We also order chicken fried rice. The rice seemed stale and not fresh and we picked out all the chicken because it was also sketchy looking. Rubbery. We are done...
