Was not happy with the food at all. I’d come on many occasions and in the past was always pleased. They changed owners and chief recently and with that came a change in menu. I’m someone that is fond of change, but this was not for the better. Their ingredients were fresh before and had a unique taste and flavor. I was told o could get an item that was on the old menu and to my great surprise I was given a completely random item instead. If I was told at the counter where I ordered my meal that would be different. Then the chief came out to my table and said he would create a meal close to the one that was on the old menu that I was ordering in the first place. I made sure before agreeing that it would not be tomatoes based; sauce wise or that it would have sun dried tomatoes like the old menu item did. Yet again another surprise because he must not of listened to anything I said before agreeing to him making me a dish. The meal had no sun dried tomatoes, and the sauce was completely tomato based. Quite honestly it did not even have a good flavor or taste to it. Taste wise would have even enjoyed something from the can even better and that is not ok what so ever. Completely displeased. Then I asked to just get my money back because you pay first. Was then told that I wouldn’t get my money back in my account for three to five days. What company would be pleased with this item of having the customer leave like this is At complete dismay. So ended with I’ll give them a third try on this same sitting. I got some pesto dish that has peas and pistachios. There is no appreciation to flavor and taste in this meal, because it was completely greasy, overwhelmed with pesto that you couldn’t even appreciate the ingredients. Hence why you would have other ingredients to enhance and balance out your meal not quite as bad and flavor as the second dish, but at this point had to settle for it because I had a child with me that needed to eat and we’re now on our third meal. I have never had to bring back a dish maybe in over 10 years to anywhere so for me to go three tries and be displeased even on the third attempt is pretty horrendous. This third meal was so bad that it is only been maybe 30 minutes since I left and it is definitely upset my stomach Because it was so crazy and oily. I waited around and waved my arm at any chance when I saw the server so I could ask for a container to bring it home, hoping that I would be able to somewhat fix this meal rather than let it go to waste. It’s a shame because it’s a beautiful atmosphere and I took the hour drive to come here. The server Jullian was great and very understanding and helpful and truly appreciated his help throughout all this matter, so thank you for that. I enjoyed this place now it’s ruined in my mind. Good luck, new business owner and a chef. Hope you keep your...

This place, in Tivoli Village, is a little upscale ($) for my normal routine as a local, but a number of my family members, who have been in town a lot more often than usual due to a recent family tragedy, have fallen in love with it.

Therefore I have patronized this delightful café a number of times in recent weeks.

So far, the food is exceedingly tasty, without exception, although I haven’t sampled everything, obviously.

I have tried the omelettes, French toast, eggs Benedict, bagels and lox, fruit smoothie, mimosas, the frozen custard or ice cream, and a fancy latte.

The atmosphere is very chill and laid-back. It seems like a place to be seen, if you know what I mean. 😄 Parking is pretty close and convenient, and there is both indoor and outdoor seating—like a bona fide, genuine Italian bistro.

My family likes the fact that they can accommodate our party of 15 or 20 at times, (outside). Inside, there are not tables to accommodate an extra large party.

This is not a full-service restaurant. You order at a counter, and are given an acrylic table sign displaying your order #, to alert servers where to bring your food and drinks when they are ready.

I’ve been there I think 4, maybe 5 times total, and it’s never been NOT busy.

Three of the four times, 4 of the 5, I was there before noon, for breakfast or brunch— and one time, I was there in mid-afternoon.

The place was jumping regardless of time of day and the “wait” to order, ie. the line you have to wait in to place your order, can be 5 minutes, or 15.

And depending how many people are in your party, and what you ordered, the wait to receive your order can be 5 minutes or 20.

This place is pricier than an average restaurant, but the food is above average, so there is nothing to complain about. (The problem that I have is when I get food whose quality does not match its price).

For example, the (average-sized) mimosa, which is served in a small, narrow wine glass, and is composed of 50% orange juice and 50% sparkling wine, is $10 per glass. (There are no bottomless mimosas (ie. free refills) here—like on Sundays at Marche Bacchus 😬😁).

But again, this is a very popular establishment for a reason. I wouldn’t go there if you were in a hurry though, and if you have a problem with birds—a lot of birds— I think, crows, (at least, not pigeons) flying all around , and above you while you eat, and also walking around nearby chomping at the bit waiting for you to abandon a few morsels of your meal upon your departure, I don’t recommend sitting outside.

Sometimes, the birds don’t wait for you to leave to start trying to peck at, or nosedive into, your food. But...

The reviews on this cafe are what initially led us to want to visit this spot; boy was that a huge mistake. It was a 35 minute drive from our home and we didn't mind because, again, the reviews and pictures made it seem like such a great local spot. We chose to go on a Saturday, 8am - early enough to beat the crowds. We ordered 2 West Coast Skillets and 2 regular coffees and sat outside. As soon as we received our coffees, we noticed there was no sugar at our table and asked the server for some and waited for what felt like an eternity, until my husband got up to get it himself. Minutes after the server came out with the sugar. Keep in mind, the cafe was not busy at this time, there was no reason for the wait, but eventually noticed she seemed to be very talkative with other servers. Our skillets eventually came out swimming in pools of oil. I've never seen anything like it and had to go to the counter to complain about it. We ended up ordering omelets in substitute of the skillets. We were trying our best to remain positive, but kept noticing there was really no sense of customer service or management. There were at least 6 servers roaming outside and nobody would make eye contact, seemingly to avoid having to help us with anything. The entire time we ate outside, not once did someone offer us coffee, although they would pass our table time and time again. We had to flag people down to ask for more coffee. The entire experience was a nightmare and completely opposite of what I had imagined. It seemed the servers were not trained enough and didn't know how to approach people and offer help. Although you pay at the register, there needs to be wayyy better management of what servers are doing and what comes out of the kitchen. It seemed they just take advantage of the location and don't care to put much effort in providing any customer service to keep customers coming back. We will definitely not be coming back and hope you're not persuaded by the surprisingly positive reviews. P.S. If you still choose to go after all this and sit outside, be ready to be harassed by all the birds waiting to pounce...

One of the best brunch spots in Vegas. It’s 20min off the strip and I definitely recommend walking around Tivoli Village after to get the full European experience. This place certainly feels like an authentic Italian café, except that there's much more space between the tables and that is a welcome distinction. I felt right at home seeing people that were clearly Italian (I know) including a trio of old timers outside that made me feel like I was in some lovely small Italian town. I really wanted to like this place a lot. The gelato was good and well presented and that's pretty much the optimal thing to get here. The rest of the food was OK but more functional than inspired or creative. Decor is somewhat classic with beautiful marble counters but goes off the rails as far as wall coverings and ceiling treatment that are incoherent and forgettable. There is ample seating both inside and out making it quite pleasant in that way Management was present but clearly lackadaisical as the staff is uninspired and poorly trained. I ordered a tiramisu to eat there and they said they would bring it to the table after they did something with it (I assume they were going to plate it) but instead it eventually came out with the same cheap plastic cup that was in the refrigerated case seated on a coffee saucer. An odd outcome considering that they were not very busy The waiter literally dropped a spoon onto the table as he was walking away so that I had to reach for it. Lots of muscles but no grace. The ladies at the counter taking our orders were equally clueless and slow. So, we could recommend the place for dessert but not much else

Went in on a Sunday morning for brunch. Seating outside is nice when sunny. Has a nice European cafe vibe to it. It’s an order at the counter style and then you sit. No table service and no liquor only wine and beer. The food is presented well and looks like big portions. We decided to get to go food and coffee instead of dining in. The line is long to order. They have good selection of gelato and a beautiful pastry cabinet. The coffees were ready pretty quickly but the food takes a while and the staff making the coffee were rude and unhelpful. The coffee was filled to the top with no room for cream and when I mentioned it they just poured out some of the coffee in the sink and handed me back the cup and I poured my own milk. When I asked for sugar they gave me attitude about it being in another area. Then over where the sugar is there are no spoons to stir. Then waiting for the to go food, I asked about it again after waiting 15 mins and they rudely told me they’d call my name when it was ready and I said I was outside and they said they’d make sure they called out there. Waited. Nothing. Went in again to check and was told it was ready and they’d already called my name. They didn’t. Fries were cold and the egg salad sandwich was toasted and the egg salad was warm. Did not have a good experience on this occasion unfortunately.
