100% change of opinion on this place all thanks to the owner. After my unfavorable last experience there, the owner contacted me that same day to talk about it. He was apologetic for the whole interaction and for the issue with the food. He offered to replace the food and assured me that that was not how they provide customer service. He replaced my food and even provided something for my husband. Excellent customer service and excellent food, without onions this time. Thank you Al, you've restored my faith in this business and the value of a good business owner. We will be back for sure 👍
I am so utterly disappointed in this place that I used to absolutely love. I usually get the fettuccine alfredo and have loved it every time. Today I get it and take it home and every other bite had a pungent raw onion in it. I can't eat strong onions, they make me nauseous. I called and I think I got the worst customer service I've ever had. I spoke to a girl (I think she said her name was Makenzie or something, and told her what I found. She tells me they've always put onions in the alfredo sauce. I told her I've had it multiple times and have never bitten into onions before. She tells me that thats what they do and thats it. Its not on their menu description or anywhere. I told her I couldn't eat it and she tells me "ok". I told her I guess I'll just have to throw it out. She tells me "OK then, bye" and hangs up. No replacement, no refund, basically zero interest in customer satisfaction. I've had fettuccine alfredo at several restaurants, including theirs, and I've never had onions in it. The worst part of the whole situation was the interaction I had with the girl that answered the phone. I'm so disappointed in this place that I think I'll find somewhere else to go from now on. I used to have pleasant interactions with a lot of the people there so this...
Read moreREALLY WISH THE ESTABLISHMENT ACTUALLY READ THIER REVIEWS BEFORE COMMENTING !!! This has been our favorite pizza for a vet long time: I’ve lived in the neighborhood for 18 years and this is definitely our go to. Unfortunately, Saturday we were delivered one of the worse pizzas that I’ve ever had. It was ridiculously burnt and uneatable. Since I’ve been industry for decades, I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and went by to let them see what was sent to me. I know that unfortunately many try to scam local businesses, but by showing them, i assumed that they see right away, that this wasn’t the case. If my team has put out a product this bad, I’d definitely want to know. The customer service I received was much more disappointing than the pizza. The very first thing that I was told was that it wasn’t their product. Nothing like being called a liar right off the bat. Next two employees searched for the order, for 5 minutes, as a line started to form behind me. Once they found the order I still wasn’t apologized to for the clearly inferior product. Instead the clerk started lecturing me on how 3rd party delivery services work (information that I most likely know better than him). After being accused of lying and made to wait while being treated like a suspect, in front of other patrons, I explained that it shouldn’t have been handled that way. I was told that they eventually found the order, as if that was an excuse for not apologizing right away for a product that they should have been ashamed of. I had no patience for this and chose to just leave. Sad. I’m not going to rate them poorly or say I will never order them again because, until now, I’ve loved their product. For as much business that I’ve given them over the years, I just wish this was handled better. It completely ruined the...
Read moreWent here for my little brothers birthday for carry out we got 2 pizzas one cheese and one pepperoni green peppers and mushrooms as well as 8 all flat wings. We have been coming to rocco’s for over 10 years and it’s always been our favorite new york style pizza place. Over the phone the person said that they did all flats because we asked because it’s common places don’t do that since the white meat is more expensive which is understandable. When we got home and opened up our pizzas the pepperoni green pepper and mushroom one didn’t have any pepperonis and the wings were all drums. We called and they told us to bring the pizzas back which was interesting since because it’s a health code violation they can’t legally take the pizzas back once they are handed over and serve them so they were just going to be thrown away. Although they did make the pizza right the lady at the counter told us that we couldn’t have all flats they had to be mixed even though over the phone and on our receipt it said ALL FLATS. After asking she agreed to give us 10 wings instead. And we had to wait 25-30 minutes for it to be fixed while the rest of the family is sitting at home waiting for the food. Which we were fine with, but her customer service was awful and she was extremely rude to me and my boyfriend even though we were nice to her. She also turned around to another coworker and said very rude things about us in spanish. If you are going to get rocco’s go to the one by Costco instead. This one has to have a different owner or something because i’ve never experienced such flawed customer service at a...
