Starbucks — Restaurant in Las Vegas

On Sunday May 12, 2024 my wife and I went to Starbucks in Boca Park on 8780 West Charleston location. We ordered 2 venti non-fat hot chocolates and a toasted bagel with cream cheese. This location has a drive thru where you must stop before the stop sign if the drive thru is backed up as not to block the driveway. Since I didn't want to block the driveway, I was waiting next to go to the speaker to order. I woman driving a California plate car deliberately cut in front of us. We reported this to not only the employee taking our order but the shift lead (There was no manager). Nothing was done about it. They say that they talked to her but I was right behind this woman with the window down and did not hear anything about it. Additionally, every employee was blowing us off and not wanting to hear about the situation. Every time we were told that cutting happens all the time at this location and there is nothing that can be done. At the very least, the employee could have given a free drink for our troubles or do something to show they were compassionate about the situation. Every employee was indifferent and just wanted us to leave so we would stop complaining. If this is a such a big problem, why hasn't Starbucks done something about it? We were told to just talk to Beth because there was nothing the employees could do. Absolutely terrible customer service from these individuals and they should be ashamed. Ordered a Matcha in app that had my name correctly spelled, upon arriving I ordered a Latte in person and paid cash. I was handed both orders by an obviously snickering barista. I understood why when I looked at the way they spelled my name. Uhhh Man Duh. To clarify, I am a 42 year old female, who apparently still has feelings. I was shocked at how anxious memories of grade school bullying using this same moniker flooded back to me. So unprofessional and immature, and obviously unnecessary! Also, additionally surprising because the punchline is based on misgendering the female named Amanda. That’s always been the joke. Do Starbucks employees not get sensitivity training on making practical and well-known jokes with peoples names? Ugh. So disappointing. Particularly because I frequent this location and now no longer feel comfortable...

now I am not a huge fan of Starbucks mainly because it's really hard to find a good Starbucks where there's not a bunch of young kids who don't give a s* about their job lol but this Starbucks is awesome! They get my order right every single time! I actually go to another Starbucks closer to my house for convenience. Literally every. Single. Day. they f** up my drink. So I will come to this one and offer to pay for it to be made right and they offer to switch me out for the correct drink made right! I think that that is such an awesome thing to do! I went through this morning (8/2 @ 7:30) and the blond chick in the Drive-Thru was so pleasant and bubbly and just awesome! She made my day!
