LA PIEDAD TACO TRUCK — Restaurant in Lathrop

Came here on 2/14 at around 6:30pm. I’m very frequent here, I’ve met the older gentleman and the son numerous amount of times and they show nothing but love every time, super nice guys. The dad even speaks to me in a little bit of Punjabi lol, I use to love it here.

Today I came and ordered the usual thing I get every time from some dude wearing a beanie , chicken quesadilla with only meat, cheese, cilantro, onion, and salsa. Nothing else. I repeated that and double checked to make sure there was gonna be nothing else on it. When I got my order it had sour cream and no salsa. I took it back and told him maybe I got the wrong order but I understand mistakes can happen so I was super friendly. I asked him if he can remake it and he said he’s gonna charge me again, his attitude was basically “too bad” being super rude about it. I told him to just keep the food and the money cause I wasn’t gonna eat it as I’m allergic to sour cream and he told me to take it so I threw it in the garbage next to the truck. Super disappointed as the son and dad have always been good and nice about everything. It’s not even about the money it’s about the principle. I know I wouldn’t say sour cream is okay since I’m allergic to it. Anyways I guess the employee they hired has too much pride to admit he might’ve heard something wrong or made a mistake. If he had just taken the food back and remade it, I would’ve continued to come back. I’m not looking...

Hands down best taco truck around. I’ve tried SEVERAL different taco trucks and I gotta say this one stands out on top. Alex and his father present you with outstanding customer service and never fail to satisfy your taste buds. I’ve been coming to this spot for well over 10 years and it’s been a phenomenal experience each and every time. I went to eat here Saturday, ordered lots of food for my family and when I got home I was missing a burrito. I paid a lot of money for this food, he even repeated back the full order. I called and left a message since they were closed and have still not heard back three days later. This is horrible customer service.
