McDonald's — Restaurant in Lathrop

26 out of 28 wrong orders... Even when you walk in they will hand you an order with the wrong stuff or missing stuff... We have started driving into Manteca to get McDonalds now... If you go through the drive through and they tell you to pull up to the 2nd window, dont do it. Waited more than 20 minutes to get our drinks... Sorry we forgot you were here... Are you kidding me? Another time at the second window was about the same time, but that was for strawberry shakes... But then had to wait longer to wait for them to get our order corrected... They handed us some else's bags... Hamburger meat is often cold, lettuce is wilted, cheeseburger buns are hard and fries are cold half of the time... we all know that you have a small window to eat those fries... so make sure they come out hot! Ask an employee if they care so many orders are wrong... They will say they dont care... Ask them if the manager cares and they will say a little but not really... Apparently its about how fast they can get things out. If you were not right next to the freeway, you would be the one McDonalds that went out of business... If you didnt have the blue lights on top... I would never go here for the rest of my life...

Update about 1 year later... We have not been back to this McDonalds since the original review above. I gave in because my sons friend talked him into trying the new chicken sandwich. The drive thru experience was no different. I keep it easy... Order what's on the menu and make no modifications as to not confuse the staff. So how can you still not get our order right. Is ordering 1 #3, 1 #6a, and 1 #5 too confusing?

Then I get sent to the second window of death to wait for that complex order. They hand me the bags and walk away. I check the order and it is wrong. I knock on the window and nobody comes. I wave at the camera there by the window and nobody comes... I lay on the horn for more than a minute and nobody comes. Several minutes later they come to the window. I explain the order is wrong and they want to argue with me. I ask them to take the bags back and show me where in the bag the items are because I have checked twice. She finally just goes to look and comes back in an amazing record time with the items. They just magically appeared somewhere?

Oh... As I drive off I reach in the bag to get a fry. I was either in that line for a long time or they served some old fries... Because they were not even luke warm... You want to think things can get better especially when the line isn't long. Nope, sadly I was mistaken. This is the worst McDonalds on the planet. I don't care if you have blue lights on top, it's a sham to hide how pathetic your franchises are. I told my family I love them, but we will never go back...

Stopped for quick breakfast on the way to a tournament with 3 players and my 8 month pregnant wife. Ordered ahead on the app and when we arrived and checked into our stall we waited 20 mins for food that never came. I went into the restaurant and waited in line. While I waited in line, I seen people customers get there orders that ordered off the kiosk while I was in line and customer whom stood in line get orders. Once I got to front to inquire about my order I asked to please wait and cashier the proceeded to bag all the orders of customers and make my 5 orange juices. Then hand orders out the drive thru. I asked the nearest McDonald’s employee can they just hand me my order that sitting on the counter getting cold and her response was we are busy. I understand being busy but you have to prioritize the orders that come in first. The cashier then takes an order outside to a car whom I may add pulled in 25 minutes after I did. Upon his return he asked how can help and I informed him “that’s my order sitting there getting cold” and provided him with order number and showed him my receipt on the phone. His response was classic. He informs me that he was just about to take that order out. I asked when, after you took the order of the 5 people in line and handed out their orders or is it because I’m here in the restaurant inquiring? This is second time this McDonalds has taken 15 minutes or more to bring food out. But 40 mins for so-called fast food is ridiculous. I place an order worth $27.84 cash n ive waited patiently for 26 mins the customer 10 mins after me got his order before me….. I waited again 7 mins more …..
