Pizza Boli's — Restaurant in Laurel

I’ve been ordering from Laurel’s Pizza Boli’s for a few years now largely due to its convenience. It’s not the best pizza, it’s not the best anything to be honest. But it’s convenient, stays open late, has its own delivery drivers, and the quality has largely been decent enough to keep ordering. However, it does have quite a number of issues you should be aware of, some which may make me never order from them again.

Something like 90% or more of my orders have had at least something wrong about them, whether it’s that they gave me fat-free Italian dressing packets instead of the regular Italian/House dressing (almost every time I’ve ordered a salad from them which is every time I’ve ordered from them) or left out the garlic butter sauces that I’ve ordered with pizzas, or other less common errors like leaving out a topping on a sub or a missing appetizer. I understand making some mistakes, especially since 2020 brought the Covid-19 pandemic and the resulting workloads for restaurant workers have likely gone up dramatically at most restaurants. But the recent move of the Laurel Boli’s has just made the restaurant a lot worse from everything I’ve experienced.

Tonight I ordered two subs and a Greek salad. Now the salad is one I’ve been getting for years due to my love of feta cheese, Kalamata olives, and a variety of vegetables. On the Pizza Boli’s website, the Greek Salad is described as "Mixed lettuce, green pepper, tomato wedges, red onion, cucumbers, Kalamata olives, banana peppers, feta cheese, Served w/ a side of house dressing." This salad used to come with a good number of different vegetables like in the picture on Boli's website and used a fair bit of romaine lettuce and grape tomatoes.

Since the Laurel Boli's moved locations, what I've gotten in the Greek salad was limp iceberg lettuce (in huge pieces) with no other type of lettuce in sight, zero green pepper, tomato slices, red onion, the smallest amount of tiny cucumber slices, regular black olives (almost zero flavor compared to the beautiful taste of Kalamata olives), pepperoncini, and feta cheese. The first time I thought it was a fluke. But again I’ve ordered it from them and got the same sad, limp, lacking salad. But hey, at least they didn’t give me more packets of fat-free Italian dressing this time.

The subs also had issues. First off, the bread for the subs has definitely gotten smaller which isn’t the primary issue for me but I definitely have noticed it. My partner’s chicken filet sub tonight was supposed to have lettuce, tomato, hot peppers, pickles, mayo, and mozzarella on it. What we got instead was completely missing the lettuce and tomatoes, had a few sad pickles, the mozzarella, mayo, and the tiniest amount of hot pepper spread I’ve ever seen. Strangely enough my own personal sub got the tomato I requested and generally had the right toppings but just not very much of them compared to in the past, including very small amounts of banana peppers and green peppers that I paid extra for. It’s a pretty disappointing change from the past.

It really seems like Laurel’s Pizza Boli’s has recently decided to use worse ingredients while advertising better ones and charging the same amount at this point. If you’re going to cheap out on ingredients, customers will notice. And if you’re giving way less toppings for the same price that you charged a couple months ago, we will also notice.

Laurel’s Pizza Boli’s is not reliable, it is not particularly good, and if you have any problems well, good luck to you. I’m tired of having to report missing items to Boli’s only for the same problems to happen...

ok so.. my sister and i had 2 different orders. order #1: Shrimp Steak combo, Chicken steak combo, burger sub combo all with ginger ale's. #2: chicken steak combo with ginger ale, 9 wings with bbq and ranch sauce on the side, and order of mozzarella sticks. (delivery)(Sister doesnt eat meat)

When we received our food order #1: (2) Steak and cheese sub combos and 1 burger combo with ginger Ale. #2: chicken steak combo with ginger Ale and 9 wings with bbg on side.

We called back down to Pizza Bolis located in Laurel, MD to dispute our order, a lady name Karen answered the phone whom is the same lady that took our order. Our Receipt states our correct order with the exception of the mozz sticks. Karen argued with us over the phone saying that we were wrong and she wasnt going to replace or refund our money. ( Manager was not there and she did not know whe he/she was going to returen but then said they will return in an hour) We clearly have the receipt of our orders. Karen argued back and fourth with us for over 15 minutes. While on the phone with the restaurant my sister calls corporate office to escalate the issue to get it resolved. Spoke to Salvador Cador..(Name may be misspelled) He called down to the store and spoke with Karen to figure out what was going on. While on hold to get a resolution, he tells me that I am getting a credit for the next time i order from them. We were unhappy with the results he gave us and he stated that it was corporate's policy. I told him that i am a Pastor and that I will no longer support their business and my friends. Mr. Salvador laughs and says, "You're supposed to be a Pastor and you're gonna tell people about what happen? You're making threats." He also stated that he was the CEO of the company and there was nothing else that he could do to help us. Its out of his hands and its up to the owner...

I was there today and had my 2 kids with me a toddler and my 8 year old, she used the bathroom and my toddler started running around cause pizza was taking long, so i went outside with my toddler to wait, big mistake, then the guy came out said watch your kid so rude like i am not a good mom, he was like be a better mom who says that to a costumer, who are u? i went to see what she needed she was stuck in bathroom cause door was jammed there fault but i am the bad mom who says that to a costumer ? Not My fault there door is old and needs to be fixed,so i got lit started telling him off , and asked for refund no one was there it was dinner now i see why ! Rude and probably nasty food!
