Hardee’s — Restaurant in Lavonia

Was literally the only person in line (until eventually someone pulled up well after I ordered). Waited 10 minutes for my food, no exaggeration. Other car got theirs the same time as me. The fries were terrible. Maybe that's just Hardee's fries in general. Haven't had them in over a decade but no taste and they were cold after all that time waiting. I will say the chicken and waffle sandwich was pretty solid. The chicken wasn't crunch which was disappointing. Had a cheaper taste to it but still was enjoyable. Would probably get it again. The one thing that really turned me off was having the cashier wearing a face mask with a political statement on it. Sorry but I'm not going to get fast food to have that thrown in my face at the drive through. Nothing like offending your customers. Only giving it a 2 because the sandwich was hot and decent. Hopefully they hire some new, more diligent workers with that...

Signs say dining room open, all doors locked. Someone's daughter wearing the drive through head set while dancing in the dining room, guess that is why they never answered the drive through. When one of the employees finally saw me and came to the door he had his headphones in and told me only the drive through was open. I explained that I had just been sitting in the drive through. He laughed and said sorry we aren't wearing our headsets so we didn't know. Obviously since the little girl was wearing it while playing. So I say ok I'll pull back around, I was ready to leave but my wife REALLY wanted onion rings. Pull back around and he finally answers the drive through after 2 or 3 min. We order and pull around. Food order was right, however he overcharged me for each meal. 1 star is only because the food was good. Both employees I spoke to were rude and acted as if it was a nuisance to serve...

I’m not sure what Hardee’s is paying their employees at this location, but I know for sure it’s not to open their store up at 5am like their sign in the window and their website suggests. I’ve come to this location 5 different times… 5! From 5am-5:15am and all 5 times there hasn’t been anyone their at the store… I take that back, there was one nice lady this morning around 5:05am that yelled through the window at me that “We aren’t ready!!” So I guess there’s that. I’m not one to get too upset but I’m a pretty simple guy. I work 45 minutes away from my work and just want a pork chop and gravy biscuit for the ride to work every now and then. I guess long story short.. I’ll be taking my business right down the road to the local Bojangles, not because I want to… but because it seems to be the only place to get a biscuit between 5am and 7am in Lavonia, GA...
