Replay Lounge — Restaurant in Lawrence

Where do I start??? Just to think about or hear someone say "the Replay," and I'm overwhelmed with joy and images of some of the best times of my life!

Replay Lounge is an institution. I don't really understand how college towns work or how bars and lounges outlast the constant ebb and flow of students but Replay does it with ease. That's probably because it's such a unique spot. Sporting sparkly ceilings and cosmic pinball decor the inside portion of this bar is small but memorable. The bartenders are typically good-natured as long as you are too. The patio is huge and really opens up the feel of the bar, particularly when the weather allows. This is a great spot to catch a show or dance the night away on the patio to a local DJ. Entry is almost always $3.00 which is a great incentive for those who might shy away from a high cover charge. Also - they take care of their musicians & DJs well which for someone like me matters a LOT! I imagine this place will outlast all of us with it's mystical mix of grunge, sparkle...

I came here for a drag show. It was super lit! But when I went to tab out at the bar suddenly my card wasn’t there. They said I already tabbed out. I hadn’t tabbed out yet so my card was still at the bar... Asked the bartender again and he said it wasn’t there. Left and came back to ask again, this time he was super rude and saying “look i don’t have it i don’t know what you want me to do” well turns out the female bartender working that night had it. Not sure what her intentions with my card were but glad i got it back AFTER i had cancelled it because i assumed someone stole it. Next time i come i’ll bring cash and go to the inside bar.
