Walking into this little shop, stop and take it all in... Floor to ceiling, there is an abundance of things to see. This place is an experience. For myself, a walk down memory lane. With almost a macabre type of vibe, and music always playing you can get lost among the collectables, and enjoyable knickknacks.

To quote the incredible owner Terry, "You can expect to find everything from modern to vintage toy collectibles; G.I. Joe, Transformers, DC, Marvel, Freddy, Jason, Leatherface, Cenobites,  Hello Kitty, and everything to infinity and beyond."

Seriously though, the owner and his wife are the type of people you want to be friends with; just that sort of happy, awesome energy that lingers around them. I can't say enough good things.

I was looking around for something particular, (an Iron Giant toy) and even though it was not available in the shop, Terry went out of his way to check his warehouse of awesomeness to find me exactly what I wanted. Getting back to me promptly and with an extremely fair price. I was ecstatic!

Everything that I have seen in this shop is fairly priced as well, and if you can't find what you're looking for, check in with the owner, I bet he can hunt it down or point you in the right direction.

Ever since I saw them on "In a Toy Store Near You," on Amazon Prime, I've been excited to purchase vintage and retro collectible toys, online, from 1313 Mockingbird Lane Toys. They have a great selection of rare and highly collectible toys at extremely reasonable prices. What I like is that the pricing is very reasonable for vintage toys, compared to sellers on Ebay. I've always received my orders promptly and packaged with care (and sometimes a surprise, which reminds me why I prefer dealing with them vs. large online retailers). I hope to shop the store in person someday, vs. just dealing with them through Facebook and Whatnot. Terry and Liz are two of the nicest people, too! Makes it easy to support this business. Their hearts are in the right place and they take care of...

I could spend hours in here looking at all the cool stuff! I'm a horror movie addict and this place is absolutely perfect! The owner is very personable and knowledgeable about everything he has for sale. He even has a $1 bin of action figures that all proceeds go to the Humanes Society, which is perfect for kiddos!! He also works in the health care field. Very dedicated person! I can't wait to go back! Even if you're just browsing I would highly recommend!! Please support your local businesses in Lawrence, KS!
