Grabbed a drink from the fridge and was yelled at by a staff member. Apparently the process of checking out at the Market has been changed YET AGAIN, and college students cannot be trusted to access a fridge. He continued to yell at me, even after I’d explained to him that the signage was at the entrance was confusing and I hadn’t known that this process had changed. He then told me that if I just wanted a drink, that I should have instead gone to the Hawk Shop upstairs. What the hell? Read moreA confusing, hilariously overpriced mess of a cafeteria with little to no seating at peak hours. Honestly the cost cutting is just devastating. The food ranges from passable to a straight atrocity, AND you can’t get a legitimate meal without paying less than $15. Oh and don’t try to use cash for that overpriced meal; you can’t and there’s very little signage to tell you that (meaning if you’re a student that works at a restaurant or something for tips, that’s useless here). Read moreAny prepackaged food or supplies are very overpriced. last semester, most places in the market weren't opened or ran out of food before closing time. Prices are rarely listed. A lot of the food is way past expiration. The hummus at the salad bar was over a month past expiration when i got it. Go to the Courtside Cafe instead unless you just want pizza hut.
