Toppers Pizza — Restaurant in Lawrence

Every time I get food from this location it is absolutely spot on. Their customer service is the best of any pizza place I've been to they truly know how to make you feel welcomed and as if you're the most important person to them!

Their prices are reasonable and the quality of food is the best of any pizza place in town. This topper's location even beats out the major competitors like Domino's, Papa John's and Pizza Hut. Something I never expected was they actually paid attention to my order of no cheese, proceeded to inquire if I was allergic to dairy, because I am allergic to dairy they then suggested their vegan cheese. I felt like this truly exceeded my expectations of any customer service place. They really paid attention to my needs and have the ability to adapt to them. Not only the ability however the willingness to do whatever it takes to make my pizza the best it can be for myself, the customer!

Went to this place out of a little desperation to find anything open for lunch within walking distance of KU campus. There really is not much on a Monday. I will start off by saying that the pizza was surprisingly good… That is, I expected quite a lot worse. it certainly is not amongst the top five or six in the city, but it’s also certainly not among the worst in the city. It was nicely baked, and had decent flavor. The service was pretty inept, however. There was very little communication with the person at the cash register, to the point where it was frustrating, and we had to get up several times to ask for more napkins, or Parmesan cheese, or something. Also, we were the only customers in the place, so we asked if the music could be turned down a bit, so that we could converse. That request was simply ignored. Absolutely my favorite pizza place in Lawrence! Excellent food, fast and friendly customer service, and very clean establishment, and easy to get to location. (Could use a few more parking spots but not their fault.)

Occasionally a little slow on the wait times but I imagine it's due to high volume of sales and being short staffed in the busy months and having a small location.

Aside from that, easily the best pizza in town. Also they have awesome deals daily on their website that make it VERY worth every penny spent.

I order from there at least two to three times a week minimum.

Especially great if you have kids at home that just need fed fast for dinner time and nobody can make up their minds what sounds good. 😅

Always a hit with the whole family! Will absolutely be going back again and again.
