KFC — Restaurant in Lawrenceville

My visit here was a bit odd. The food was pretty good. I love the grilled chicken and the sides and all that was fine. The restaurant itself was clean and the bathrooms too. The KFC is easy to find from the street and there's plenty of parking. The weird thing was with the service itself. We go up to order and our cashier is so out of it. We tell her our order and when we're done, she looks at us like we we're talking in a different language. She wasn't even listening to us. Eventually she leaves and someone else takes our order. She gets about half of our order before the manager comes up to her and starts telling her she needs to go on break and then the two start arguing over it in front of us. This goes on for 5 minutes while we still wait for someone to finish taking our order. Eventually, the manager says "not in front of the customers" after they're done arguing. They eventually take our order. We go sit down to wait for our food and we eventually wonder what's taking so long and see our food just sitting on the counter. No one called it out or brought it out to us. I think our food got a bit cold from sitting out there for God knows how long. It was the weirdest incident at a restaurant...

What a terrible experience. After a 12 hour shift and taking my child to physical therapy. I came to this kfc. I didn’t check my bag upon leaving the drive thru. So when I got home 30 min away, I noticed the order was wrong. I called the store multiple times. No answer. I came up to the store and explained the situation. Ashley (who we didn’t even know was the manager at that time) offered to make the food fresh. I explained to her that wasn’t necessary, I just wanted a refund. She insisted. She then proceeds to tell us that we will have to wait for the fries. Which we also agreed to. When I inquired about the refund, she stated that location did not do refunds. And we had to call corporate to get a voucher. Ridiculous. I told her to forget about the food and just reimburse me. As I previously asked. She did it in seconds. We asked for the corporate number and she told me to google it. The customer service was sub par even for a fast food chain. Please do better. Especially with your management training. I haven’t had kfc in years and always have had Popeyes. I’m not sure why I waited so long as this was way better service and food then the Popeyes in Snellville scenic highway. The chicken actually tasted like chicken unlike Popeyes tenders (tasted like fish). The employee greeted me immediately the moment I walked in and since I havnt been to a kfc in a while I wanted to look at the menu. The manager thought I was waiting so she came up and said sorry but I told her I was just looking at the menu. I got the big box tenders and before I could fill my drink my food was ready. The fries were a bit too salty and tasted stale but the chicken tenders were hot and juicy. The bbq was really sweet but over it made me really full. Definitely making me crave some...
