Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Lawton

I love tropical smoothie but I will not go back to this location. I went in to pick up my mobile order however decided to eat in. I am glad I did because I learned that I paid for extra chicken for my salad but did not receive extra chicken. It look like a regular salad. After bringing this to the attention of the supervisor or manager on duty, he looked at me with hesitation. He told me that a regular salad had 4 oz of chicken. The salad was so skimpy , you did not need a scale to know that the extra chicken was not included. It was very obvious. It was almost as though he did not want to make it right. It wasn’t until I told him that an order of extra chicken to my salad does not look like this at the other location and to top it off the chicken was ver dry which took away from the taste of salad. This location gets 1 star for poor customer service and quality of food. Customer Service goes along way. Had he said , sorry mam you are right this do not look like extra chicken as you ordered, I will get corrected right away. Ratings for this location may have been somewhat different, but because food and customer service was bad, and inconsistent quality of good with prior visits this location...

This has been our favorite lunch place for a while, but I just had to share how great the service is here.

The app was acting up and charged me a few times even but an error:declined message kept appearing. I didn’t want to order again if by some fluke it went through (because I was charged a few times already) so I went to the register to ask, showed them my bank and what the app was doing. It never went thru to their end. I wasn’t too worried about the charges because I knew if the app was just acting up the money would go back into my account since it didnt send to the actual restaurant. It happens and was in no way the restaurant’s fault. I was ready to pay for our order at the register but the manager comped it for the technical issue with the app. Even a few minutes later when my bank recovered the pending charges and the money was back in my account, I told them the money was returned and they still said it was on the house.

This place has fantastic service and the food is great. It’s perfect for after the gym or if you want healthier options. It’s the only “fast food” I can tolerate at the moment while waiting to get my gall...

This location used to serve the absolutely best smoothies of any location I've tried (5-6 of them) and in the last couple of months the service and the smoothies have gone way down hill. A couple of times, I was given whey instead of pea, when I have a dairy allergy, and the smoothies tasted like they were missing a few ingredients without flavor. Today I went and ordered a smoothie, got up to the window and they had the kid serving size made. When I asked why it was that size, the worker told me that's what I ordered. When I told them I definitely did not (as I wasn't asked for a size), the shift lead came over and explained they were low on something so had to give me a small one instead. I told them that would have been good to know so I could have ordered something different, they just said "oh sorry" really rudely. This same shift lead is rude most of the time, but especially today. I definitely won't be back. I used to go a 2-3 times a week to this specific location but it's now just throwing money down the drain.
