I see a lot of great reviews on here for Buddy's home furnishings. Too BAD, I/We couldn't get that great customer service as everyone else received. On 3-15-2024, I called and spoke with a young lady @BUDDY'S and was told to come into the store for a king size mattress and box springs. I went to the store nobody was in the front so we had to wait a few minutes but that was okay because I know how hard it is to keep workers and do things in the store and handle customers. But! that's not the problem. I went to help my ex-husband get a mattress set because he lost everything to a house fire last month. Soo! With him getting released from ICU burn center I'm just getting him a new house, so we went to get him a bed set as stated.

My ex-husband gets SSI due to being burned over 20% of his body. The approval manager was very rude and rushing to get to lunch. I started recording because I sensed something wasn't right with those people. She kept rushing me to fill out the paperwork and I thought that was strange. So! just because a person gets disability as a sort of income they are labeled as not being responsible for paying bills and that's not fair. The lady clearly compared my ex-husband income to another lady that's behind on her account with them that also receives disability/ssi. This lady said "I already have a woman that receives disability and she's behind on paying us now" what does that lady business has to do with us? I truly don't appreciate how people that receive disability are treated. My ex-husband has his own business and I'm a registered nurse. We just moved here and getting judged already just because of someone else not being able to pay their bill. Everyone goes through hard times so watch how you treat people. That lady probably going through something like everyone does. Hopefully! She can get whatever it is she has from BUDDY'S paid off soon. My ex-husband has worked all his life since the age of 8 yrs old started out working with his father construction company and at age 22 he opened his own business and has worked up until he was burned badly. I will be going public and reaching out to whoever else I can reach out to because yesterday was so not business like. After the manager compared us to someone else that gets disability a man came from out of the back office and started saying that to make extra money my ex-husband could door dash and I'm like are you serious right now!? Like my husband gets over $2700.00 in disability. You'll seen that he's burned all over his body. What makes you think he needs to be doing door dash!? I have everything recorded. This just blew me away seriously! We don't need to door dash. Just because you receive disability, work a job and still has to door dash to make ends meet don't mean everyone else has to do that just to get by in life. Maybe you should check your priorities first. It's something you are doing wrong. If you'll could have just witnessed how these people treated us especially when comparing us to someone else. All of my bills are paid and I make sure all of his bills are paid. If he was to need any extra help he has a strong support system behind him. It's only a mattress he was needing. BUT, thanks to universe for always stepping in. HE HAS WHAT HE NEEDED NOW. We would never consider Buddy's rental company for any needs. I won't say all rental companies because I won't compare others that's done nothing to me with this bad customer service at buddy's. Everyone is different! The guy manager didn't care not one bit how that lady and man treated us and he's the head so no wonder why the one's under him don't treat customers right (well some customers). BY THE WAY! It's not THE kind of income a person gets it's how they MANAGE that income. Not everyone's the same! I usually don't let people get to me but yesterday was a day I wanted to just go the extra miles with her. Hopefully, She CHANGES that rude attitude and know that everyone isn't the same. Treat people right! NO MATTER THEIR INCOME! It could be you tomorrow. Accident's...

The manager is the rudest person I've ever had to speak to, cuss an yelled at me never did I raise my voice or cuss at them for them to treat me this way never rent from these ppl the worse experience I've ever experienced, told I would not be able to find a another place that would rent to me never am I late on payments or anything so I took my business to rent a center an so happy I did great customer service...
