I'm not going to lie they do have some amazing food choices, and some prices are awesome. It's horrible you have to buy your own bags. Only one checkout line is always open, and there's one manager lady that runs it a lot of times with glasses. She's very rude and throws your food without a care in the world. I've seen and witnessed more than once her being so rude to other customers as well. One day, a lady was using a basket to lean on because she had a cast, and she ripped it out from under her and didn't even apologize. No matter what rank as an employee, you should never be able to treat your customers like their garbage. My wife likes to shop here, or I'd be alright to never go back. I feel manners are a must. This store would be better if they opened up more than one line, and when placing your food back in the baskets, at least don't just throw it. Also, I saw a lady go in tonight and did 2 doordash orders that was big and she asked this lady to please keep them separate and again the employee was rude told the customer if you don't like it don't come to my line. There's only one line, and doing doordash shopping with big orders is hard when they get mixed like that.. My opinion someone needs to talk to this employee over how she treats people because it's not just me it's so many. I would give more stars, but with that lady being the only one to scan customers out and the rudeness from her, I believe 1...
Read moreI enjoy Aldi. What Dont care for is when they have flowers out stacked on the racks and they look deprived of sun and water. Wish they would find a way to merchandise this in a way that flows and is beneficial to sunlight. Also, the checkouts. I understand the process of keep cost down as per store layout and boxes and speed of checkout. I dont like my items thrown into the cart. I take the time to choose my items such as fruit, I dont want them bruised. As it is the shelf life on produce is short. When Aldi opens a new location we seem to have full checkout service. As the store progresses in a location it seems to become very light in this area. I have had to look for a checkout person. Understandably they are doing stocking and other things...hence keeping cost down as one person does several things. But, I feel we've come acustomed to 2 checkout even one checkout when a store is loaded with customers giving me the decesion to go elsewhere. It becomes inconvenient for the customer. I dont mind bagging my own things I prefere it. Because i like shopping there I am now used to the process. I find that some things I need to get are quicker by heading to Walmart and hitting the self check out. Less expensive is not always better when one looks at the whole picture. But I do like Aldi but maybe a few tweaks here and there....Lawton would benefit as well as Aldi to open a...
Read moreI have been a loyal customer for more than 10 years, and initially purchased the chocolate milk last Friday, Oct. 14, and started consuming it right away, then stored it in the refrigerator. Then, I discovered that it went spoiled with a sour taste on Monday, Oct. 17. I reside in a town named Duncan in Stephens County, Oklahoma, which is more than 30 miles away, so I can only bring it back today for a potential refund or exchange.
Upon arriving, I entered the store and talked with a female cashier on counter 1 around 11 AM. I brought the bad product, showed it to her (with a "sell by date" of Oct. 26), briefly explained the situation, and politely asked for an exchange. I was then appalled that she told me "There is no way for us to know whether you put the item in the refrigerator or how long you left it out; so I can only allow it this time but not the next..."
This product has Aldi's "Twice as Nice Guarantee"; and in the past when this happened in other branches, there were no questions asked either with exchanges or refunds. I will do my best to refrain myself from making future purchases at this location, unless this kind of problem will be...
