Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Layton

Good lord! Please be prepared to wait for food! I used to work food service I usually give the employees the benefit of the doubt. Although, clearly something was wrong. I had a mobile order that was supposed to be ready at 7 to pick up in the drive through. I waited in that line of cars for 40 minutes. People were backing up out of the drive through because they waited too long (the drive through is a single lane with curbs and you can’t move out of it). I would have done the same if I didn’t already pay for my food. By the time I got my food, I could tell it sat there for a bit and was not very hot. Figured I’d try it since it’s a new building, drove up to 1 other car that ordered before me. I ordered something simple… 4 tacos, they tell me drive to second window. I wait 10 min for the first car and it seems he drives off with nothing. I drive up to the 2nd window and there is a lady there, doesn’t look at me, doesn’t say anything just tapping her screen. I wait 5 minutes just looking at the lady and then drive off… whaaaaaat??? You think they can pump out fast food slop quickly but...

We wanted to try the tacos at the new Jack in the Box. There were 4 dirty tables. 2 in store customers. We waited 15 minutes for 2 tacos. The AC fan was blowing cold air on us for those minutes. It was 53 degrees outside. Finally the tacos were ready - the worst tacos I've ever tasted. There was about 1/2 a centimeters of some mashed hamburger with 3 strings of limp lettuce. The shell was so crisp and greasy and smashed, it was hardly edible. Really, I can't believe how awful...
