Subway — Restaurant in Layton

I just went in to buy 3 sandwiches for me and my family. The two ladies who were in there, both young maybe 18-23. They were both extremely rude to me. Rushed me, talked to me like I was dumb, and talked down to me. The second lady was ringing me up with my first order and I told her I wanted a bag of baked lays. I then finished with the other order and asked her if she got the chips. She said no you’ll have to get it with the other sandwich and walked away. Both ladies were very very rude and did their job as if they hated it. I would suggest either a good talking to or a fire. Everyone else in line was uncomfortable and in shock as to how rude they were. Terrible customer service.

Update: Called the manager to speak to her about it. Her name is Destiny. At first she was polite and willing to hear us out. As soon as she heard what happened she immediately turned on us and said that it was okay for the employees to be rude because they felt I was rude. I was in no way rude, check the security camera. Anyways, she immediately started going off and saying that they had the right to be rude. My mom was talking to her and told Destiny she should not be in that profession and destiny said very snarky that she agreed. This girl is way too young to be a manager of all things. She was very rude, snarky, stuck up, and she yelled!!! No way to treat customers. I will make sure everyone knows never to go here again.

Update #2: After speaking with the owner of the subways in the area, he was very helpful and apologetic. He informed us this was not the first complaint against destiny and her staff. He assured me it would be taken care of and even gave us some coupons. Amazing customer care from him. A great owner who wants his businesses run...

I dont know who is the new owner of this location but they need to get a grip on there employees. One employee can't handle questions, another can't speak or understand English and the 3rd that was working was walking around like she didnt even know why she was there. The one with the manager shirt went in yhe back of the store in the middle of a rush and started slamming pots around so it sounded like a tonado was going threw there. Leaving 2 employees that had no idea what they was doing or how to speak to the customer. It took 20 mins to make 5 sandwich. Non of the to go online orders where ready. Then when this women walked back up front and was stomping around, she was asked who the owner was. She said dont know find out. Then threw the customer out of the store and refused service for asking her name and for the owner. Saying yhe customer had a attitude. I'm sorry if you are a new manager with a new crew dont you post on the door or window saying longer then wait time. Your customers are not mind readers and definitely not there to watch you and your employees have melt downs cause you can't handle 5 sandwiches. Especially if you dont know who walks in the door of your store. It could be corporate or better yet the better business, or maybe someone much worse. If you like Subway, definitely go to this one. It tastes like pretty much every other Subway, but I happen to know that the owners of this chain are ON THE BALL when it comes to customer service.

Several months back I ordered a foot long on the app, went to pick it up and when I got home and unwrapped it, I saw that the bread was horribly overcooked... so much so that a friend asked me in earnest if Subway now sells pumpernickel.

I called back immediately and the nice kid who answered said he didn’t have a way to refund my app order (later learned there is a way he just probably didn’t know about it... maybe he hadn’t worked there very long). I sent customer service a message through the website and within a couple of days, I got a phone call from the franchise owner. He was so kind and apologetic and took down my address to send me several coupons for 6 inch subs.

That being said, I think I’m going to start getting the veggie sub instead of the sweet onion teriyaki chicken because the last couple times that chicken has tasted weird to me, but I’m sure that’s either a me thing or a corporate thing... not individual to...
