This morning I went to Bonnie’s, I’ve seen there facebook posts of all the cool donuts they make and promotions for holidays, so I went! I get there and there are 2 people ahead of me with normal quantity orders and then me. I waited 15+ minutes to order when all my order consisted of was two sausage and cheese, one sausage only kolaches; so, three in all and two donuts. Ends up being $13.46 and a 15 minute wait, to find out when getting in the car to eat the kolaches, they are all only sausage. Unfortunately my experience was not favorable, most likely will not be returning. THEY SAID
Hi Schuyler! First off we’re sorry you’ve had bad experience with us and we know this review was here since 6 months ago, we’ve been wanting to respond back to you but we’ve lost touch with our google account and couldn’t log back in and just recently get it back under our control. We remember you that day, you came with your kid and your order was not only 3 kolaches but with 2 other special valentines donuts and a drink which sounds pretty reasonable but you edited it out your review to only 3 kolaches. About the no cheese kolaches when you stated that you found out when you get in the car we wish you could just come back in and tell us that it was the wrong ones that we gave you, we’d have fixed it for you right there and then. About the long wait we’re really apologize for the inconvenience but our donut shop is like everywhere else which is always busy during holidays or special occasions, especially on a valentine day with many valentines donuts that other would love to come and grab them for their special ones too, so that makes the wait a bit longer with just the 2 people working back and front but we appreciate your waited. And on the donuts they’re not just regular donuts(like you stated in your previous review before you edited it out), they’re special holiday ❤️ donuts~ they took longer to make, more times on decoration unlike regular donuts and we have to pay for the plastic decorations on the top of donuts, so the prices would also be a little more than a normal donut and we hope you understand that. We hope you’d give us another chance, and if you can stop by again please don’t forget to mention your name we’d love to meet and serve you better with all our hearts. ❤️
I RESPOND WITH, I have no children, it was a normal Saturday morning in February not even a holiday. I was referring to the posts y’all have posted on facebook about the cool holiday donuts y’all make. I got a pink sprinkle donut and a chocolate sprinkle donut. 5 items ONLY & not on Valentine’s Day. Also, I did not edit any of my post. It was just amazing that I had to wait 15 minutes when there was only two people in front of me in line on a Saturday morning at 7 o’clock. That’s what brought me to write...

The husband-wife duo who run the store are so sweet and easy to talk to; they answer all your questions and can even customize some of your selections. Kids are welcome here as they are, and I have even seen their son hanging out with other kids on Sundays, so it's such a lovely, warm, family- friendly atmosphere. Not much seating in the store, though.
They are known for these HUGE cinnamon rolls that come in 5lbs or 10lbs sizes- great for special morning to share with the whole family. They also have cro-nuts, croissant donuts, that are SO BUTTERY OMG, and other seasonal flavors that they keep switching, so there's always something new to try everytime I go there.
Other pastries are several kinds of kolachies, and there is this feta & spinach florentine that I personally love to get. I have seen flavors such as red velvet, taro, and cereal toppings on donuts, and if you get a filled pastry, you can choose from several fruit fillings.
They have a wall lined with fridges with a typical but wide selection of drinks to pair with your breakfast, easy for you to pick & grab while you want your turn in line. The line can get pretty long on the weekends, but they husband & wife work FAST, and everyone I've ever spoken to was so kind and relaxed. No...
Read moreOkay, so sit back for this one. I grew up in League City, and let me start by saying we should never let this place go! It all started with not wanting oatmeal my mom made. My dad was taking us to school (Ross Elem woot woot iynyk) and stopped at this little Donut shop. We ordered kolaches and got my mom some cinnamon/sugar Donut holes so she wouldn't be mad lol. They were so bubbly and friendly, we turned it into a routine. Fast forward 20 years and I still see their eyes light up when I walk in the door. They know I'll take anything with bacon in it! Their offerings are so much more now since I was a kid. Cinnamon rolls bigger than your face! (No lie) Pastries that are so delicious that I find myself opting out of bacon anything for it. Drinks galore in different brands so if you like thick chocolate milk...they got it! Waking up while visiting my parents and I hear, "We got Bonnie's!", Im up and no one can ruin my day after that. All that said, the best part is that they always make time for you as a person. Great service, space to sit and just adjust to your day before it starts, and you'll even get to hang out with the adorable and lively babies of the family sometimes. Sheesh, okay, I'll stop rambling. Go say hi to one of the most cherished hidden gems...
