Village Pizza & Seafood (League City) — Restaurant in League City

My experience was terrible. My home is in Galveston, about 45 minutes from Village Pizza. Heading home from Houston one night I ordered their 10 topping special pizza to go. Before leaving I opened the box, and it appeared that I had not been given the correct pizza because I could not see the pepperonni or jalepenos. The counter lady assured me that they were under the cheese, so I paid and left. When I got home I discovered that the pizza was not what I had ordered. When I called to alert Village Pizza about the situation, they told me that they had discovered that indeed my order was wrong, and that my name would be listed in their book and the problem noted. Since it would have taken me an hour and a half (45 minutes each way) that night to drive back and forth from Galveston, I was told that the next time I came by the pizza would be replaced. A month later on the way back from Houston once again, I called in to order my replacement pizza. When I got to Village Pizza, I was informed that since I had not returned the 1st pizza, they would not give me a free replacement. I simply turned around without making an issue or uttering a word and left. Over a pizza that I would estimate cost Village about $3.00 to make, they have lost a customers for life. The location on Main St has gone SIGNIFICANTLY down hill!!! This is our 2nd time in a row in the last 3 weeks they have forgotten our order. I say forgotten because both times I’ve had to call to check on it after 1.5 hours!!! 3 weeks ago when I called in they were “just taking it out of the oven” This evening I was told it was “just going in the oven.” Really?!?! Just going in the oven after waiting 1.5 hours??? Don’t bother wasting your time ordering from this location. We used to NEVER have issues. Our food would always come early. Now, you are lucky if they remember to put your food in the oven. Never again will we order from them....

We wanted to go try a small business for dinner. I feel if the Menu was re-done this could be great.

We ordered several things to try because there was no combo plate with everything.

What we got was a extra large pizza box filled with French fries that were so over done they might as well have been croutons.

The main items were HEAVY portioned out like they just poured an entire bag into the frier for the fish, clam strips, pickles, shrimp and huspuppies. The quality was really lacking. We had to throw a lot of it away. For the 80 bucks we spent would have been better off goimg somewhere else to...
