Cambo Donuts — Restaurant in League City

Such a delicious place to grab food at! Especially when you are on a diet restriction or preference. I'm on the keto diet. I can't explain how excited I was when I seen they had keto donuts, pastries, drinks, and so much more! I highly recommend the keto bacon, cheese, and jalapeño puffs! I also recommend trying the drinks as well! I haven't had a caramel frappe in so long until this place that makes a keto version! It tasted just like a regular caramel frappe. Super good. They also make breakfast tacos, both regular and keto. And they were delicious as well. My boyfriend had the regular donuts, sausage rolls, and tacos and he thought they were delicious as well! There is so much on the menu to pick from, so there is something for everyone! Definitely worth a try! The owner is so nice and wonderful as well! Everyone knows that finding delicious GF sweets is hard to do, but CAMBO comes close! I tried her GF donuts (plain, blueberry, & chocolate), which you can get without the glaze (!!!)-I went fully glazed and warmed up and the donuts were great. I also tried the jalapeno & cheese kolache (GF and Keto Friendly), and the sausage was tasty but the bread part was meh, and they are small. On the plus side, nutritional info for Keto is available on the glass, so it is convenient. My kiddos enjoyed donut holes and loved the star shaped donuts instead of the traditional circle donut. I wanted to try this place because it is hard to find good gluten free donuts and cinnamon rolls. First, the price for three mini cinnamon rolls came out to 11.99 which was completely overpriced for the taste. I wouldn’t mind paying a little extra for something good but I had to spit my first bite out and throw the rest away. The “icing” tasted like frothed cold milk with a little vanilla extract and was also disgusting. Overall, very disappointed and would not recommend for gluten free pastries.
