Third and last time I’ve tried a to go order from this place. The first two times I had orders that were on the verge of being good. Each was reasonable but had something messed up on it. This third time, today, 10/24/2020 I ordered on Postmates. It’s where I got sent at every attempt to find a menu. I received a text and an email saying the order is received for pick up. I can attach screenshots if requested. When I got to the restaurant I was told, first, they Could not find the order and until I showed the kids behind the counter I had an order confirmation they were questioning whether I really did because they didn’t see it. When I showed the order the story became, “That was Postmates. They already came and picked it up.” When I showed it was a pick up, not delivery they were again confused and suddenly did not know who took the order. I said I wanted a refund and the kid, a curly haired young male, told me they would not refund it, the food was ordered on Postmates and because Postmates collects the money, which is already showing hit in my bank account, they won’t get paid for the food the may or may not have made and given to some random person until later, they would not refund me. I needed to get my money back from someone, it’s currently 9:00PM, I’m angry and I’m hungry because I’m still trying to get someone to accept responsibility because Postmates is on the phone saying the restaurant is responsible or if Postmates is to refund the charges that the restaurant is supposed to have called to initiate a refund. Iyvett’s, you have the rudest kid working for you, he is unprofessional at best and dishonest at worst. Lesson learned, third strike for service, I won’t be going back and will be sharing the experience with everyone I know and submitting this review on every site I can find. That young fellow with the curly hair has no business working with customers.
As I typed this I finally got headway with Postmates who finally confirmed my story through their end and said I should not have been calling with this problem. If the restaurant was not going to refund me themselves that the restaurant was supposed to have been the ones to contact Postmates to have Postmates process a refund when the restaurant knew they could not or did not perform as they were paid to do. Again, simple dishonesty, laziness, or just trying to cover his tracks for the guy behind the counter. Well done, Postmates, shame on...

Came here with my husband for dinner on a Thursday night. It was not very crowded, we were one of four tables. We chatted briefly with our waiter, Walter, and found out they just opened in December and the owner is his father who was the chef in the back. Walter and his wife take turns waiting tables. Our food was absolutely fantastic. We had the lasagna which was out-of-this-world amazing and a very nicely sized portion. We also had the chicken and prosciutto in spicy alfredo sauce which was very good as well, but very rich. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms appetizer but Walter forgot to bring them out which ended up being fine because we wanted to try the Italian cream cake for dessert. It was okay, but I wouldn't order it again. Everything was made to order, including our complimentary garlic bread which Walter put in the oven when we arrived and brought it out hot and fresh. They are BYOB so we brought a nice bottle of wine and there's no corking fee. They have nice quality wine glasses which I appreciate! I don't like the small rinky-dink ones. Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely be back. Next time we will definitely bring our kids because it seems to be a very kid...
Read moreIn the area for my son's birthday and he wanted Italian food. After a quick Google search, we found ourselves at Ivetts. The atmosphere and vibe were a little lacking when we first pulled up as it was a small little unit in a strip mall settting. The seating was all 4 tops consisting of wooden chairs and tables. Plain, basic, and not very comfortable. Didn't expect too much. How hard is Spaghetti or Alfedo?? But wow! We were blown away by the food. Appetizers consisted of cheese stix, stuffed mushrooms, and chessey garlic bread with marinara. Everything was on point. I would literally order the stuffed mushrooms for an entrée. They were so good. Then, for the main dishes, we ordered Chicken Parmesan with spaghetti; shrimp limon; Chicken Alfredo, and a 14" cheese pizza. Three of the meals came with salad or soup, and we had unlimited drink refills. Everyone raved about their meal and left stuffed and completely satisfied. The service was impeccable, and we waited for nothing. It was pretty empty when we first arrived buy by time we were leaving the place was pretty busy. We left spending about $100 for 4 and that includes the tip. Definitely recommend. Definitely will return. (Sadly forgot to...
