Update: Apparently they respond and act concerned and ask you to contact customer service for sake of appearance. I emailed customer service as they requested below and even included my phone number and received no response from them.
We used to love this location, but it has really gone down hill in service. First of all, as soon as you enter the door you're smacked in the face with the awful smell of mothballs. That's just gross in a food establishment. On February 20th I went to pick up a cookie cake in the middle of the day and the door was locked. There was another customer already there frantically knocking on the door and calling the store number. A man finally came and let us in with no explanation about the doors being locked. It was weird. Today I took my daughter for an after school treat. I got a waffle cone and wanted one scoop of two different flavors one on top and one on bottom. The menu says unlimited mix ins but the employee said both flavors would have to be mixed together and share the same mix ins. What is the point of getting two flavors if they're just going to be mixed together? I told her I get the same exact thing everytime at two other local locations as well as this location normally everytime I go, but she wouldn't budge. It was ridiculous. You would think with all the businesses suffering from the pandemic they would be going the extra mile to give good customer service, but not this location. Sadly, we won't be back there. We will choose the other League City location where they are always nice and friendly and smells...
Read moreI went to this ice cream store today, Thursday at 8:30 pm and I had a bad experience with the server. The schedule says that they close at 10pm but they had cleared the tables. When I took one of the chairs to sit down the server told me with attitude that I have to go and sit outside because she was alone and had already cleaned. I told her that was not the way to talk to a client and she start to argue with me saying that she did not have employees, that she had her children at home and she could not continue cleaning. I told her that was not my fault that she should speak with the manager and, for my surprise, that disrespectful person told me that she was the manager. Read moreI guess they're understaffed, they don't pay attention to the line at all its just a free for all, we were just enjoying each other's company trying to be nice and patient but next thing we knew a group of 3 had cut us, and they had all the toppings and extra stuff so it added 15 minutes to our wait time, we waited nearly 30 minutes for ice cream. The lady almost let us get cut again but luckily I was watching this time. They don't ask if you want want a double scoop that's just what they give you without asking. They also have the most expensive stuff up front, duh I guess, and have the regular cones hidden off to the side. I didn't realize I'd be charged $2.15 per cone, not worth the $10 extra plus tax on top of getting way more ice cream than I or my daughter can eat.
