First City Soda — Restaurant in Leavenworth

My husband and I decided to check out First City Soda last night and it did not disappoint. We've (maybe just I've) been hoping for a local place to grab coffee and dessert past 6pm that was local and here we are!

We walked in and were greeted with a smile by the super friendly staff, I didn't feel rushed to look over the menu, which is a huge plus for me. I ended up getting 2 scoops of ice cream (I went with the lemon cheesecake) and a chai with oat milk, hubby got 2 scoops of the salted caramel and 2 shots of espresso (which he ended up dumping on his ice cream and it was delicious!) The chai was seriously probably one of the best I've had.

The atmosphere was fun and the space was bigger than I had envisioned. It would be perfect to bring a group to or study at, enjoy alone time, time with family, and even for date night!

Note: currently does not have a kids menu. However, a server told my daughter they are going to have one. Which will be great. Recommendations for kids menu: grilled cheese, cheese quesadilla, etc. We had the turkey pesto. Quality food, especially the thick cut turkey & ciabatta. Cherry limeade was refreshing. So excited to see such a nostalgic business grace the streets of downtown Leavenworth. I enjoyed a basic lemon soda with added strawberry and it was so good!
