Located on 5th Street near downtown Leavenworth. Tiny spot with only 3 four-top tables. We ordered to go. What we ordered: 1.) Carne Asada Tacos $3.50 my husband liked these. 2.) Ground Beef Taco $3.50 my husband said this was just ok. 3.) Carnitas Tamales 3 for $9.00 the Meat was flavorful and the masa was soft 👍🏻 4. Arros side $3.50 rice was fluffy 5.) Frijoles $3.00 6.) Bean Dip $4.00 It had a little cheese drizzled on top which was tasty to me. 7.) Jamaica $4.75 Unfortunately they forgot to give me my drink at pick-up, so I called and had to got back to the restaurant to get, but the owner gave me another bean dip & chips for the inconvenience 👌 We will be back as the food was good 😊

8/3/25 Came around 2:30pm to order to go. Great customer service, clean environment, pricing and portion size is filling. I tried the ground beef Nachos this time. Not a fan, its okay. Too many toppings making the chips gets soggy fast. I recommend the Birria and street tacos personally. 7/11/25 10 out of 10! I tried the Birria tacos and a chicken street taco. Sooooo good! Love the sauces, especially the spicy salsa. This is now the best Mexican food in the Leavenworth/Lansing area.

This small Mexican restaurant tucked away in town transported us straight to Mexico—for just 30 dollars. The place was cozy and intimate, and I can confidently say it served the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. The staff were also incredibly kind and warm. I have a feeling we’ll become regulars here. Please keep serving your amazing, authentic Mexican dishes!

Without a doubt the best Mexican food I have ever had. Ever. Being from California, that says a lot. My wife and I were driving across the country and found this place randomly. The food was MIND BLOWING. And I not exaggerating. My wife had the Quesabirria tacos and said that if she was given the choice of a Michelin star restaurant or Taqueria El Sabor, she would choose Taqueria El Sabor. I completely agree. I had the Carnitas burrito and it was beyond incredible. Why do I always find the best restaurants in the most random locations far away from home? I will never forget this culinary perfection. Next time I drive across the country, I will go out of my way to visit again. I ❤️...

The food served at this establishment is some of the best I've eaten. I LOVE Mexican food and have tried it from almost every state in America, and this is in the top ten best. Absolutely an asset for this community. I was in town helping family move here and always look for that amazing replicated flavor I had when visiting Mexico as a teen. Brother, this is it. I tried the street tacos with assada and the giant burrito and after adding some green sauce, it was the "bomb". 3 tables inside, or call in, I tried both and the service was impeccable. Try it.
