Taco Bell Hell: Worst Fast Food Experience We've Ever Had

My wife and I were coming back from Columbia where we had been visiting with our newest grandbabies who are twins. We were in a great mood as you might imagine and coming through Lebanon spotted the Taco Bell. Being hungry we thought it would be a nice place to stop, eat, and rest on our way back to Nixa Missouri. How I wished we had just kept going...

It took three or four minutes before the staff who were all back in the kitchen even noticed there were customers waiting. After another three or four minutes one of the staff came to take our order.

What was immediately noticeable when we walked into the building is that it was ice cold. I would suspect that it was probably around fifty degrees since it was even cooler outside. It was cold enough that I walked back out to the car to retrieve both our coats. When I asked the young staff member if the heat was working she simply shrugged her shoulders and said I don't know.

We went ahead and ordered our food and sat down. We had our choice of seats since we were the only people in the restaurant at 7pm in the evening. I could see McDonalds right next to Taco Bell and it was one car right after another. I thought to myself I should have paid more attention to where the cars were going.

We received our food and found that the order was wrong. When my wife went back up to the counter to let them know she said she got a look at the kitchen and kitchen floor and said it was absolutely horrible. Food and wrappers were littered everywhere and the staff were simply trudging through it.

She did finally get our order and the food was decent, but took only a few minutes before it was ice cold and matched the temperature of the building.

I didn't blame the teenage staff that were working for the conditions. I blame management and ownership for our experience to be absolutely horrible. It is without a doubt the worst fast food experience that we've ever had.

This Taco Bell is absolutely horrible lately. This was our go to place all the time and now everytime we go through we wait 20 minutes or more, we either have missing food or it's not made right. We went thru a couple weeks ago and the manager that was working and an employee were both outside talking and goofing off when the drive thru line was all the way around the building to the road and the lobby was full. We told the guy we wanted Pepsi 3 times and still had to correct it at the window because he did Diet Pepsi. We got our food and the cheese rollup wasn't even melted, the 5 layer was cold and the grilled cheese burrito just had cold cheese thrown in the wrapper with it. They stand around and talk while the orders are visibly sitting in the drive thru waiting to go out. My nacho chips and cinnamon twists were thrown in the bag upside down so they all spilled out in the bag. Not to mention they either smother your food in sour cream to the point it's a huge mess or it's all in one bite. Sauce, beans, and everything all over the wrappers. We are about to stop going there if the new one in town isn't better than this one because they obviously can't get...

We had to go up there 2 extra times because when we got home we realized there was a soft taco missing, the second time we went up there it was because I clearly stated I wanted no tomatoes on my soft taco supremes but there were tomatoes on it. When I asked for them to kindly fix it, the drive thru worker copped an attitude with me and told me he took the order and he remembers that nothing was said about no tomatoes, but it was a female that took our order. When the correction order was given back to me, the people in the drive thru gave me a dirty look and I asked them why they were just standing there staring at me and they asked for the incorrect food items back. I gave them back, but I know that fast food restaurants are not supposed to take food back once they are in a customers hands. After I got home to finally sit down and eat, the corrected food items were very sloppy and there was sauce all over the tortillas. I was very dissatisfied with my visit and I left very irritated because the workers were unprofessional and not patient...
