July 27, 2024 – My husband and I were in a rush, eager to grab a quick bite before heading to the Seinfeld show. "Let's find something fast, with no waiting," he said, his stomach grumbling like an angry bear.
We spotted a Panda Express. "Perfect," he declared, his eyes lighting up at the sight of the glowing sign. We walked in, and to our delight, there were only two people in front of us. The menus were clear and easy to read, shining like a beacon of quick, tasty food.
Now, I should mention, I'm abstaining from eating because we're going on a cruise tomorrow. I want to save my appetite for the endless buffet! But my husband, well, he couldn't wait. His stomach was demanding attention, and who was I to deny it?
As we stood in line, I watched him eyeing the the chow mein with the intensity of a detective on a hot case. The line moved quickly, and soon enough, he was placing his order.
"One plate of broccoli and chow mein, please," he said, his face filled with anticipation.
I couldn't help but laugh. There he was, my hungry husband, on a mission for a quick bite before our night of comedy. And Panda Express? It was just what he needed. Quick, delicious, and no wait. Perfect for a...
Read moreI visited Panda Express for lunch last Saturday with some friends and got the bigger plate with a side and three entrees in order to have leftovers for later. I went with the chow mein and the broccoli beef, Bejing beef and the new hot orange chicken. The food itself was pretty tasty and fairly standard for what you would expect from Americanized Chinese food. The price was a great deal for all the food they give you considering it's inside a casino where food prices tend to be exaggerated simply due to location. Where the experience fell flat was the atmosphere overall. The music is entirely too loud on top of the already loud kitchen right behind the ordering line. It was impossible to hear my server and I felt like I had to yell to be heard over all the noise. There's also not much dining space overall, but I wouldn't ever hold that against them since it's just the nature of the space they are in. Overall, I would recommend Panda Express as a good option if you are looking for a filling and affordable meal in the casino that you can get super quick and get on with your gambling or shopping. It's not going to blow you out of the water, but it...
Read moreI rarely comment on stand-type, mall style fast food, but I had to after tonight. Best Panda experience I've had, and not close.
Staff is bilingual - English y español. We spoke full Spanish today and the staff was pleasantly surprised. They were all beyond friendly and accommodating to my toddler. One came over to give us a plate for him to eat off of (though he often prefers a wiped table still). We were cleaning up some of the big chunks he dropped and they told us to stop. The whole staff said adiós on our way out.
The food is typical Panda, but it was cooked perfectly. Sweetfire chicken and teriyaki chicken with white rice. I was worried my toddler was going to get sick with how much he LOVED the teriyaki and rice. He also loved the apple chips and fortune cookie. Good fountain drink selection including the basics plus fruit punch and Sobe Lifewater.
Best Panda. Nos...
