We have always had good experiences until recently. The last few times we didn't get the correct order or it was simply missing. The most recent trip, we ordered 2 sandwiches and realized we received one after we drove 20min in the other direction. We went back, went inside to explain. The young lady at the counter did all she could do to avoid eye contact. I can accept that if she was moving around or taking/completing orders. She stood at the counter, refusing to acknowledge me. I 'ahem'd' then 'excuse me'd' then finally said 'hello?' several times, while she ignored me. When I increased my volume on my last "hello" she glared and say "WHAT?? I'm very busy..!" I told her she just waited on me in drive-up (albeit 20+min ago) and that I ordered 2 sandwiches and got one. I suggested if my sandwich is simply sitting there, I would be happy to have it if she would look. She responded with "you need to talk to..." I didn't not catch the name and she reverted back to ignoring me. I wait a few more minutes, then said a bit more loudly although still not shouting, "would it be easier if I went back thru drive thru?". At this point the gentleman who was manning the register asked if he could help me. I re-explained I ordered and paid for a sandwich that was not in the bag. He yelled back and had it re-made. From start to finish with the gentleman, I got my sandwich in under 2min. The entire process for a sandwich, took 45min. We prob won't go out of our way to go here, while that snarky young lady works there. There are other eatery options, right on...
Read moreI started a 2nd shift job in the area. I was so happy there was a Wendy’s on the way home that’s open. I went through the drive through and ordered 2 meals to bring home. I was so disappointed! The person was a rude over the intercom and when I received my food it was lousy. The fries were completely encrusted with salt and my sandwich was saturated with condiments. I was so hungry, but I ended up throwing food away. It was making me gag. I gave it two stars because I normally love Wendy’s.
Update: I thought I’d give them another chance. Around 11:45 PM I ordered a chicken BLT biggie bag. The guy at the window let me know that there was a five minute wait for the chicken so I ordered a burger thinking maybe it would be easier for them. The fries, were cold and dry. The chicken nuggets had just been cooked and they tasted good. I was driving and I took one bite of the burger and I got a big glob of slime. I don’t know what it was, but I know it wasn’t a condiment. I had to pull over and was getting sick in the bag! I’m done! I’m never eating there again! The food made me so sick. I’ve been there during the day and it was ok it’s just a whole different experience...
Read moreNevermind the fact that we are in the middle of a pandemic and that they were serving food, and the guy at the drive-thru window was the only one not wearing a mask... I made the assumption buying food there would not be tasteless, but I was wrong... For one, there was nothing on the fries. I mean absolutely nothing, they tasted devoid of all flavor, there was no salt, they didn't provide any salt, ketchup, or anything in the bag. The rest of the food pretty much tasted, well, tasteless with no flavor whatsoever.
Then of course, there is the frosty coffee drinks they are currently offering. It tasted as if somebody took a few tablespoon full of vanilla ice cream, poured warm coffee over it, and threw some ice in it, there was no flavor, and actually it was kind of disgusting. Overall, if you want to survive as a business, I would suggest actually serving good food, not to mention being polite...
