FINAL UPDATE Again used the app to place an order, but not sure if drive-thru is an option, as the app keeps mentioning food being picked up inside unless closed. Promised 5 minutes (ASAP) for order to be ready, but as before, went over by approximately 10 minutes again.
Employee was friendly and helpful, but there must be some issue between the app and the restaurant for this promised window to be gone over by this length of time multiple times now. Either that or the kitchen area prioritizes orders differently.
UPDATE Visited now an additional two times to balance out any one visit. All visits were around the same time and started by using the app.
After the second visit, I was ready to bump it up a star, due to the food being ready prior to my arrival of 5 minutes (ASAP). After this third visit, I have to keep it where it is at 3 stars, as the food again was delayed 10 minutes beyond the stated ready time.
Unless the drive thru was very busy (wasn't upon arrival), it's hard to tell why this has happened on two separate visits, as there is a wall blocking your view of the kitchen and the interior of the restaurant wasn't busy in the slightest.
Came to this location for the first time due to a promotion Arby's was doing via their app.
I was put off a bit by the fact that the app said the food was to be picked up in the lobby, unless it was closed, and then via the drive thru. Not the fault of this location, just wish it was done differently and you got the option to choose.
The app gave a specific time for pickup, ASAP, which was about 5 minutes after placing order. Arrived a couple minutes early and watched as 3 different orders were physically placed in the lobby after I arrived, which should mean they get their food after my already placed order, but no, they got their food before I did (how many others via drive thru?), as I continued to wait 10 additional minutes beyond the app promised time.
Once I received the food, I was given the wrong size drink cup, but as they have a self serve fountain drink machine, it wasn't the end of the world.
The food was tasty and the restaurant very clean, so I'm up for giving them another chance, but it sucks that it was a...
Read moreI've eaten at this location twice now. The first time was smooth sailing all the way around. The second time both my daughter and I became sick and vomited from eating the loaded fries. For reference, the only other thing I had was the beef and cheddar and she ONLY had two bites of the loaded fries. She vomited within 15mins of having consumed the fries and so I decided to see if it was her or the fries. Needless to say, many hours later and I am here laying next to a bucket, weakened by my poor choice.
I've eaten at countless fast food places on a near daily basis and have quite the tolerance for unhealthy and acidic foods. In my nearly 27yrs on this planet, this is only the second chain that has made me forcefully vomit. To be clear, I have eaten at the Arby's in Eustis many, many times over the years and never had any problems but after my experience at the Leesburg in Arby's, I will be avoiding them like the plague. I love so much about Arby's from their great employees to their excellent selection of sandwiches and their delicious shakes...but after this experience there is no way I can trust the chain to provide me with untainted food.
Pardon me for sharing details but I feel like this is an important aspect. Within my stomach content's vacation, I found what looked like a piece of plastic. It was clear and sizable enough for me to notice but I only noticed it while rinsing out the bucket my stomach traveled to. I did not get to pick it out and ensure that's what it was because it ran down the drain too quickly but I will be trying to see if it can be retrieved. I had a lot of difficulty in purging and something got stuck in my throat. It was clearly undigested and definitely whatever it was that I saw run...
Read moreI have been coming to this Arby's for 4 years. The food is always great and always great service. I always come after 9pm on my way home from work. But a few weeks ago I asked for a side of red ranch like I always do. I was told I would have to pay for that. So in almost 4 years I have never been charged but now suddenly I am. Funny because I went tonight as well asked for a side of red ranch before I even got to the window expecting to be charged but was not charged. So I'm confused, is it free or not. Not a big deal but if there is a charge it should be every time. Not just once in 4 years by some young punk kid. Lol. Be consistent. Also got the 2 for 7$ deal. Original roast beef and Buffalo chick sandwich. I asked to add cheddar to the roast beef and no Buffalo sauce on the chic sandwich. Same kid told me I could add cheddar to roast beef but I couldn't have the buff chick sand with no buff sauce. He said because it was a special no changes. But there was no prob to add cheddar to the roast beef but I absolutely could not ask for no buff sauce on the chick sand. If there are no changes allowed because ita a special then why can I add cheddar to a roast beef but not request no buff sce on my chick sand? Don't...
