Learn moreI have had the worst experience i have ever had... i went through drive-thur. I had to repeat myself several times as if they could not hear me... but i was offered some special fry sauce i wasn't sure what they were talkinb abiut so i declined. I got to the window and asked for my order confirmation you know since the could not hear me at the speaker... I handed cash at the same time I was asking for my order confirmation, my money was taken and change given but NO order confirmation. I never got the drink that came with the meal and normal you get your drink when you pay but i waited patiental. I sat at the window for 15 mins for A kids meal burger PLAIN (meat and cheese only) and a Large Chili Fry. The Employee was doing something on the counter the whole time. She eventual grabbed my food opened the window and basically tossed the bag at me... one bag (pretty sure a kids meal goes in its own bag) but i checked my order the fries to the kids meal was all over the bag but i saw the container of fries and the kids meal so i drove around since she acted like she could not see me at the window trying to catch her attention to get thw drink. now mind you since i waited 15 mins i figured the lobby must be busy but when i walked it there was one customer inside already eating and all the employees seemed to be standing around. The manager greeted me at the counter...I let him know we didn't recieve the drink he handed me a cup and asked if there was anything else he could do for me. So i let him know the gal at Drive-Thru needs to work on her customer service skills and she had practically tossed me food out the window at me. I left pretty upset about the experience but also love the food but once i got home to eat it... it was just freakin CHEESE Fries NO Chilli. So horrible customer experience and poor food quality... i really hope they turn it around looks like the rating for this location is dipping...I WIll...
Read moreI don't know what's happened in the last year or so, but dang JCW's! I still think you make decent food but the drive thru has been frustrating, especially the last three trips. Each of the last three trips I've sat in the drive thru a minimum of ten minutes and I've always been there close to 11:30 prior to lunch rush. Yesterday I went through Lehi's drive thru, I ordered and then stopped in lane 2 to wait. When I looked at the clock it was 11:23 and I sat there until 11:38. When they brought me my food I asked what the hold up was they said "we got a big order" I responded, I understand but nobody communicated that, and bye the way the car of three people who ordered 3-4 minutes after I did got their food before I did. What did I order?...a kids meal...one! When I told the employee who brought the food out about the car behind me getting their food before me she just looked at me in confusion and backed away. I felt like I politely said, "It would be great to possibly hear "I'm sorry" or something", but she just walked back in. We'll I pulled over to the hotel next to JCW's and the first fry I pull out is cold and oily. In the past JCW's has done really well, but I won't be doing drive thru anymore, and if you're going to charge a little more, then give me a little more. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come, JCW's WAS one of my favorites, but maybe it's time to shop around. Again, good food, just disappointed with the drive thru service! Read moreThe only reason this place gets 2 stars is because its food is good. The service, employees and management are the worst. Literally worse than McDonald's. We have tried every possible way to order, drive through, in restaurant, call in for curbside pickup. We've done full meals, we've gone for just ice cream, or just fries and literally EVERY TIME, we have to wait 30-45 minutes for the food to be ready. We have never been here where we haven't had to approach someone and ask where our food was. This time, we called ahead at 4:15, we arrived at 5:00. We sat for 30 minutes waiting at curbside before my wife went in to get the food herself. Even doing that, they made her fill up her own drinks, get her own napkins etc..
The previous time we went for shakes. 2 baby shakes for the babies, and 2 medium shakes for my wife and I. 30 minutes later, the kids get their shakes. 10 minutes after that, my wife gets hers. 20 minutes later, after having to ask 4 different times, I finally get mine, just in time to walk out the door since the rest of my family is done.
Do yourself a favor, go across the street to Cubby's or Apollo Burger unless you have hours of time to blow sitting in your car, with gas at $4 a gallon.
Having both worked in the restaurant industry, we tried to think of every excuse they could have for consistently being terrible. This was definitely our last time...
