Not impressed any more. I initially loved Slim Chickens. I still do love the cayenne ranch sauce, but their food quality went downhill fast and hasn't gotten better. Unless you get your food immediately after they make it, the tenders are cold and tough. Don't even think about takeout - on multiple occasions my food was ready before the specified time, which normally would be great, but that just means it has been sitting there. I wasn't notified when my food was ready, and when I asked to get new, fresh food, the answer was "it's still hot". Not the problem. It's tough as rubber. I've tried to go back a few more times to give them another chance, but it's not improving. I'll drive down to Raising Canes before coming back here. Update: I decided to give SC another try. I'm dropping another star. It's just not good. I went through the drive thru. It's sad that things have gotten worse. The portions are ridiculously small, literally 1"X2" "tenders" (quotes because they aren't tender). Tiny, tough, and cold. The fries were similar - cold and soggy. And my raspberry lemonade was watered down Minute Maid lemonade with a little flavor added. The temperature of the food can't be blamed on takeout either - I literally left the drive thru and ate my food in my truck in the parking lot. So disappointing.

Read moreI love slim chickens. However, I don’t care for this location based on my one experience. I have the slim chickens app and during your birthday month you can get a free jar dessert. I don’t live close so it was out of my way to come here to get my jar dessert. I went in the drive thru and ordered the one I wanted. The line moved a bit slowly. I got up to the window and showed my free jar dessert on the app. There is a code on the app you have to show them to redeem it. I show the employee my code and she tried a bunch of times putting in the code and she couldn’t figure it out and kept saying it wasn’t working. My birthday was July 16th and the free jar dessert expired on August 16th. You get one month to use to and I came here on August 5th. So it hadn’t expired. It was clearly on the app and she wouldn’t give it to me. She couldn’t figure out the app and she didn’t even try asking anyone else for help. Multiple times I have asked for grilled chicken to get fried chicken (at this Lehi location), and why on earth do I go through a drive through with only 2 cars to be told to go park and wait for my order? If I wanted slow food I’d go to a sit down restaurant. Then two different workers came to my car asking to give me the wrong order. Now… almost 15 mins. later I get my food. VERY frustrating when I could have saved time going somewhere else. Then I just got my food and for the fourth time at this location I got fried instead of grilled. Drove all the way back through the drive-through and told her how I sat there for 15 minutes and I how I needed to run to the bathroom urgently and you know what she told me?
