POSITIVES: The garlic aioli sauce is the saving grace for these döners. When I first saw it, I was expecting fry sauce. But I was surprised to find that it was instead a creamy sauce variant of the traditional aioli. I just had to ask for extra to put on not only the fries, but our wrap as well. The regular fries had a perfect texture. Also, if it were up to me, I would come back to this place just for the cinnamon pita sticks alone! The employees were quite helpful, friendly, and quick to attend to our needs.

NEGATIVES: not gonna lie, there were a few things that let me down. Number one being the sweet potato waffle cut fries. I was so excited to try them! But they were rather thin and too crispy. Also, the street cart wrap was very bland (needed sauces, or more seasoning, or something added inside to give it some oomph). The decor was... Interesting. An awkward blend of hippie and trendy that didn't quite jive with the feel of Mediterranean cuisine. In addition, I feel the price was pretty steep for a wrap that consisted of mostly veggies, with sparce thin slices of beef & lamb. We spent $23 on a single wrap, a reg side of fries, and one order cinnamon sticks for dessert. At most, they should have charged $15-16. Lastly, while the garlic aioli sauce was very delicious, the strong taste permeated for the good half of the day. Be warned that if you burp, the garlic stench will come back to haunt you. It is strong enough to ward off even the fiercest of vampires.

PRICE: roughly $12-20 per person.

RECOMMENDED: definitely ask for the cinnamon...

One word comes to mind when I think about Spitz: hipster. They serve Mediterranean steet food like gyros and wraps, but with their own unique flair.

I got the full order of wings with the Buffalo-Berlin sauce, and the thin cut fries. The wings were good - nice and crispy, and the sauce was interesting. I wasn't a fan of the tzatziki ranch. The fries are okay. I like the garlic aioli, but it's a mediocre fry and not worth the price. A lot of reviews rave over the street cart fries, so that might be worth a try. I've had the gyro at a different location, and it wasn't bad, but it wasn't great (thus why I tried the wings). From my experience, all meal portions are hearty, so no concerns about leaving full.

Nothing negative or positive to say about the service. My experience has been that I'm treated like I should know the lingo of the restaurant and its menu, and when I have questions, it reveals my outsider status. This leads me back to where I began. Like a hipster, Spitz has the trendy atmosphere and menu, but ultimately doesn't deliver something truly new or crave-worthy. You can get better Mediterranean food and spend less elsewhere. If a friend invited me with them, I'd have no problem eating here again, but there's nothing to compel me...

Absolutely Addictive Greek Street Cart Fries!

These fries are next-level delicious! Perfectly golden and crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and absolutely loaded with bold Mediterranean flavor. The crumbled feta, zesty lemon, fresh herbs, and drizzle of garlic sauce take them over the top—each bite is like a flavor explosion.

They taste like something straight off a busy Athens street corner—authentic, satisfying, and made with love. Whether you're grabbing a quick snack or adding them as a side, these fries are the kind of food that makes you pause and say, “Wow.”

I had an outstanding experience, thanks to Maddy’s exceptional food service! From the moment we arrived, she was warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. She made sure everything was perfect.

Maddy’s knowledge of the menu and her helpful recommendations really enhanced our meal. She handled everything with a smile and genuine enthusiasm, which made us feel truly welcome. The food was delicious, and her service made the whole dining experience even more enjoyable.

Highly recommend asking for Maddy if you're dining here—she's a true star!

Do yourself a favor: skip the plain fries and go Greek. You won’t...
