This is honestly a stupid interaction to review, however hopefully it helps someone else save their frustration, energy and money. In summary, this McDonald's has repeatedly demonstrated that its leadership and staff do not care about or understand customer service concepts when interacting with customer issues. Please see the other 1 Star reviews for this establishment. Honestly tried not to go full Karen here. (Never go full karen :-P)
Went to order a couple of drinks today (9/24/23) via the McDonald's app. The app had an offer for drinks at $1 each. Submitted the order and then received a message stating there was a problem on our end. Sure, things happen. Opted to place my order for a large Root Beer and a Large Iced Tea at the Drive-Thru instead. At the speaker I explained the app situation to the gentleman and was given impression that they would honor the offer pricing.
Then, at the window the story changed, the order total was incorrect and when I explained the situation again to the lady at the window no offer was made to correct the issue. Honestly, I thought the issue was minor and would be corrected so I requested help from the on duty manager. She reviewed the order and we discovered that the order was entered incorrectly when I was at the window. She corrected the order, but then said she would not entirely honor the pricing from the app, only discounting the Root Beer and not my tea. It was only off by about .69¢ at this point. I said this was silly, remember?
I took the time to again place the order by app at the window and still got an error, showed her and she still refused to make the adjustment. The manager was capable of fixing this, but just refused to. A shame since This is an opportunity to SHINE for your customers, instead of turning them away. (Foreshadowing)
At this point I asked to cancel the order and I expressed my frustration with the poor handling of this situation and others on the past. The manager was kind enough to remind me that there are other McDonald's down the road. (Why??). Hilarious and the best advice I was given during the interaction. BUYER BEWARE.. interactions like this remind me I should be eating healthier food...

The manager working or I assuming she was the manager was so rude and i believe her name was Karen because I’m pretty sure that’s what the worker called her but anyways I went to McDonald’s today because i was hungry and when I left I realized I lost my AirPod’s about thirty minutes after I left and so I had my friend call one time because I was at a store and she ask if there was a pair of missing airpods and with out any hesitation Karen said “NO!” With out any time to check or let my friend finish what she was saying. So i decided to go in and ask not even an hour after I left the restaurant and the worker was so nice and got Karen for me and when I asked Karen about it she was so rude and gave so much attitude to me and didn’t even ask if I want to give her my number incase they find them it’s just so sad as person who working in the food business to see such selfish and close minded people working and giving their customers such attitude when they are just trying to find and expensive...
Read moreI often stop at this location in the morning because it’s one of the few places open as early as I wake up. This is now the second time that the egg on my bagel sandwich has been forgotten, I pay for extra bacon to also be put on so I’m paying for a $13 sandwich that they keep forgetting to put the egg on. The last time I came to this location, it was right as open was happening, it took them five minutes to take my order, in which I was the only person in line, then I was told to pull around to the side and waited for even longer, and given an attitude with eye rolls when my food was given to me. This morning, I was also given a mild attitude with a disgruntled good morning, I’m not trying to be difficult. I literally just want the one thing in the morning that would make my morning happy and instead I’m met with hostility and disgruntled attitude.
