I placed an order for pickup from Isaac's in Lemoyne for myself and my co-workers. I originally tried to place the order online but the online service wasn't working. I called the restaurant instead and talked with Matt (manager?). He was extremely pleasant, apologized for the inconvenience of not being able to order online, and immediately offered to take my order over the phone. I arrived at the restaurant to pick up our food, paid and was on my way. Not even 5 minutes after I left the restaurant, Matt called me and let me know that they forgot to put one of the sandwiches in the to-go bag. Not only was he very apologetic, but he insisted he would drive the sandwich to my office (instead of asking me to come back to the restaurant to pick it up) and had it to us within 10 minutes! He also gave us a free sandwich voucher to use in the future. Despite the mix-up, the food was delicious and the service was IMPECCABLE! Thank you, Matt! It is without a doubt that you are a valuable asset to the Issac's of...
Read moreGood but not the same. We don't have an Isaac's where we live now. We used to love their chicken salad sandwiches and multi-colored chips. We discovered on the menu that the only chicken salad sandwich that they have now is in a Kaiser roll, not bread. Ok. But it arrived on a heated roll that was so warm that the chicken salad was warm too, not what we wanted on a hot day. They have also added bean sprouts to it which gives a slightly bitter aftertaste to each bite. The chips were all potato, no mixture, but they were good. Our server was excellent. Years ago when we lived in the area no matter what time of day there were always people eating there. We did go at an off-time but no one was there when we arrived and no one came in while we were there. On a good note, their tomato-cheese soup is...
Read moreSince they remodeled, the inside is so much nicer. I love the overall style they went with, and the fact that they have the bar space in the back now. Their sandwiches are always good, and they've added some flatbreads that are also pretty tasty. I particularly love the Flaming Chicken, and they used to have a pickle flatbread that was awesome. Sad that they removed it. The salads, soups, and potato salad are all great. And as always, the pickle mix is a must-have, although it's quite expensive to buy if you're not eating in.
Definitely recommend them if you're looking for a good sandwich. The membership program offers rewards if you eat there semi-regularly. Just be advised there is a 3% charge for card...
