MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Lenexa

Owner is out in the parking lot asking customers to move their cars as they are in “mod pizza” spots. We are not talking about parking in front of the building, this out in the middle of the parking lot. Every spot needs a sign, not just at the end of the isle, as it is almost impossible to notice the sign the end of the isle.

Considering these signs were added recently from hearing about it inside at my hair cut from another customer who was confronted, they should be more professional and stick notes in customer cars notifying them of the change and maybe offering $1 off for coming to mod. It’s obvious that it is Red Door grill overflow parking that is filling up the area and they should be building a bigger parking lot. Was trying to get a hair cut next door and then come over and get pizza. Never mind, will never be...

Super disappointed in this experience. I have been to MOD many many times, far too many to count. Never this location. They would not allow me to customize my pizza as they made it, they would only write it down and then made me go sit down to wait while they made it. Certainly took more time writing orders down. I told her I wanted to order as we went and she wouldn’t let me. They did let a couple other customers customize as they walked down the line….beyond rude. I will never go to any MOD pizza again. The point of MOD is to customize it as you go. I can order a pizza like this at literally any other pizza place….point of MOD defeated. Also, their toppings are all messy and mixed together, basil is wilted and brown….more reasons not...

We love our pizza nights at Mod. The staff is really energetic and happy to help you, they seem genuinely happy each time we've been so it wasn't a one time fluke. They have your basic selections and some more specialty options but we always go for the build your own.

Topping selection is pretty good and about everything you'd expect to have on a pizza, and they have a few curve balls like corn so that's pretty cool.

Seating is well spread out so you don't feel cramped on top of each other and it's a pretty chill place to enjoy a delicious personal pie. Everything is organized and clean and we always have a good time here. Great staff, great food, great...
