I've been coming here for years , to resell and purchase and have always found this to be a great establishment. That last few times I've noticed the service declining. However that hasn't stopped me from coming. Emily today was by far the most rude person I've encountered here. Because of her I will never be returning. I don't know what makes people get customer service jobs if they have no customer service skills. No smiling. No kindness. Don't speak to people nicely. Unkind. It's not even the fact that the decline to purchase anything. It was literally she took the stuff out of the container. I had time to answer a text message and I already was called to say my bin was complete. 124 items , complete in less than 3-4 minutes ?! Halloween costumes , brand new shirts with tags, brand new Jessica Simpson leather jacket , and many other good condition clothing . I get that not all items will be taken, that's never been an issue. But she had a personal issue with me from the moment I walked in and took it out on me by declining any purchase. I see the reviews that people are unhappy with the service they're receiving these days. May want to teach you employees happy faces , kind spirits and customer service skills go along way. Hope the service gets better. Not everything was in these picture but Pictures to show everything was prewashed. Sorted into like categories. And laid flat. Probably should have take. Pictures of how she disrespectfully through everything back in. After leaving I went to two other resale shops donāt generally go to because of pat issues ( which was the reason I put all my business with yāall originally). They bought over 40 items ... and took time to look at the items and have friendly conversation and at the bare minimum they said hello and greeted me. Unlike Emily or the other individual at the counter at yours. Lastly Iād like to mention Emily called someone over and had them come smell the pink formal dress I brought in , first off that was bought and never worn but still had washed it before coming in , either way if you think something smells or isnāt of standards to your store , move on. EVERYTHING WAS PRETTY DECENT CONDITION, AS SOON AS I ARRIVED THE EMPLOYEES THERE WERE RUDE AND ASK ME WHAT DID I WANT, I AM A VERY PATIENT PERSON AND BECAUSE I HAD SO MANY CLOTHES JUST IGNORED THE FACT THAT THE PERSON THERE WAS RUDE TO ME AND DECIDED TO LEAVE MY CLOTHES. I NEVER GOT A CALL WITHIN THOSE 2 DAYS AND THE THIRD DAY I CALLED ASKING FOR MY ITEMS, ONE OF THE LADIES THERE TOLD ME THAT THEY HAD LOST MY INFORMATION AND COULD NOT LOCATE ME, FOR ME TO GO IN THE STORE TO SPEAK WITH A MANAGER AND PICK UP MY ITEMS. AS SOON AS I ARRIVED, THEY INFORMED ME THAT BECAUSE THEY HAD LOST MY FORM, THEY GAVE MY STUFF AWAY FOR DONATION BECAUSE SUPPOSEDLY I NEVER CALLED WITHIN THE 2 DAYS AND THEY THOUGHT I JUST DID NOT CARE FOR MY ITEMS. YOU ALL CAN IMAGINE THE ANGER I HAD, HOW COULD THEY HAVE DONE THAT TO ME? When I first arrived, they told me they wouldnt accept my items because they were in a bag. So I went to the dollar store and bought a bin because I didnt want to have come all the way out there for nothing. I returned and the lady who was buying the items was very rude. She seemed like she was so tired of dealing with me or people in general but whatever. I proceeded to fill out a form. I asked her how long it would take to finish the buy and she told me that it wouldnt be ready until tomorrow. I just drove 50 min to get to the store. I didnt want to return tomorrow knowing they most likely wernt going to buy all my items. I asked her if she was sure there was no way it would be done that day as it was about 2pm when I was dropping off and they didnt close til 8pm. She looked at me like I was stupid and with the rudest tone of voice and face told me that they wouldnt be ready til tomorrow. So I took my items to Kid 2 Kid on Culebra which not only bought the majority of my items but took only 15 min to buy. I used to love Once Upon a Child for their clothing prices but the jeans are now 8.50 each and for that, I can go buy brand new jeans from The Childrens Place for 7.99 So all in all, the rude customer service, combined with the wait times and increase in prices for the clothing, it just isnt worth it. From now on, I will be doing all my buying and reselling at Kid 2 Kid.
