Paris Baguette - Lewisville
Totally unexpected location. Pastries galore! “Strawberry Croissant,” had fresh fruit with fluffy texture and sweet creamy filling. This might be, truly, the best croissant come across my tastebuds!
If you’re familiar with Lewisville, TX, you know for number of years some parts of it were run down and not taken care of. Vista Ridge Mall, was one of those neighborhoods that was neglected for years and sadly looks like a ghost town inside and out.
I recently walked through this mall with family and it was sad to see what once was a very prominent shopping and dining place, became almost abandoned. So I thought.
When you drive around the mall, you’ll see a nice corner lot of the building, full parking lot that has a small town of its own. Full of Korean shopping and dining. You’ll find a large, “Zion Food Market,” and next to it… “Paris Baguette.”
As soon as you walk through the large glass doors, you’re immediately be transported into French atmosphere. The fresh baked goods aromas are crowding into your nostrils.
To your right is pastry galore options. “Prosciutto Fig & Goat Cheese Pizzetta,” “Hash Brown Bread,” “Pastry Franks,” “Mini Grain Cream Cheese Pastry,” “Mini Croissants,” “Strawberry Croissants,” “NY Cheese Tart,” “Tiramisu Tart,” “Sweet Rice Doughnuts,” “Sausage Stick Bread,” “Snow Bunny Cake,” “Chocolate Strawberry Cake,” “Red Velvet Cake,” and surprisingly… so much more.
The amount of fresh, handmade, pastries this particular location has can be overwhelming. You can walk around and try to find the perfect pastry for yourself and you’ll find yourself lost in your inner desires.
After walking around, on an empty stomach, trying to select the best pastry, I ended up settling on, “Prosciutto Fig & Goat Cheese Pizzetta,” “Pastry Frank,” and “Strawberry Croissant.” When you place your order, you have such kind and friendly staff. They were extremely helpful in helping me with my large selection.
“Strawberry Croissant,” had fresh fruit with fluffy texture and sweet creamy filling. This might be, truly best croissant I’ve ever tasted.
“Pastry Frank,” was soft to the touch and the meat inside was evenly cooked that with every bite, it was a perfect dance combination for your tongue.
Their New, “Prosciutto Fig & Goat Cheese Pizzetta,” was very delicious. The large peace’s of goat cheese, mix with other meats and seasonings made a perfect choice for a snack or a meal. In fact, costing under $6, I was full after eating it by itself. I had to take the rest of the pastries To-Go. Definitely recommend this location for pastries galore and...
Read moreWe had a very disappointing experience with Paris Baguette in the Zion Market location in Lewisville. We placed an order online selecting "tomorrow" as the date, however we didn't realize it was after midnight which put the date as Monday instead of Sunday (which was our fault). The email confirmation says to call for any order cancelations or changes. We tried calling as soon as they opened, however their phone isn't working and just hangs up on you. We went into the bakery to see if they had any of the Pastel de Nata we tried to order (they had 7!). We had initially ordered 12 online so we were hoping to get a refund for the 5 we were no longer picking up. We had to explain to 2 cashiers and a manager (I think she was a manager as the cashier got her to help) what happened, but none of them understood and just kept saying "well tomorrow is Monday, today is Sunday". We were then advised they can't issue refunds and we would have to cancel the order online (there isn't an option, just says to call the store). We ended up paying for the 7 we picked up today again and told them to cancel the pickup tomorrow. As soon as the bank is open, we will call to have them issue a chargeback as that's the only way to get refunded our money for the dozen. They also didn't seem too concerned their phone just hangs up on you. We may try the other locations, but due to the rudeness and seemingly just not understanding of the employees we won't be back to this location. A mistake of placing the order 10 minutes after midnight turned...

I have frequented this bakery in person many times over the past few years and their breads and cakes are good, their service is decent, and otherwise I have always had a pleasant experience.
Usually I grab whatever cake I want from what’s available, but this week I decided to call ahead to reserve a specific cake. But their phone number would not go through! (I tried several times) So as an alternative I decided to reserve the cake via their website for pickup the next day.
At first all seemed to go well, but when we went to pick it up, someone had hacked into our reservation/order somehow. They had canceled the cake we ordered and replaced it with a bunch of other things we didn’t ask for. The only email confirmation I received was for the cake, there were no indications that something had changed.
They would not let us cancel the fraudulent order or give us the cake we originally asked for, even though we had our email confirmation as proof of our order. So we had to refuse to pick up “our order” (the random items the hacker selected) and then call our bank to report the fraudulent transaction to cancel the charge.
That was an upsetting experience. I will shop there in person again for other things in the future, because as I said we’ve had no problems shopping there before and their baked goods are tasty—there’s no problem with their food. But I will NEVER use their website to order again and I suggest that you...
