Rack & Tap Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Lewisville

The location was actually bar before Rack & Tap took over. It used to be called "rockin parodise". Ever since new owners took over with their idea of "Rack & Tap", it's been a much better bar. A complete turn around from the bar it used to be. The staff here is great, and the drinks aren't that bad either. The food is great! I mean, it's typical bar food, but it's actually good! It's just your every day bar. As the name would suggest, it's a pool bar with a hooters (ish) staff. The only thing setting this place back is the environment. It doesn't have a "wow" factor. Which to be honest, most bars in Lewisville don't have. There needs to be something that sets this bar apart. It needs a theme. At the end of the day though, this is a great place to go with your friends if you looking for a "good night out at the bar". The staff is very kind, and actually care about making sure you have a good time. Karen, the day shift bartender is amazing, and when the night rolls around, Samantha is none the less. Overall, this is a bar I continue to come back to over and over again. To the owners, take this bar and run with it. This could be an amazing bar if you put some time and investment into it. Seemed liked a fun place for pool and after work drinks with some friends. Unfortunately I personally was met with an incredibly rude bar tender with a defective or outdated ID scanner. She took forever to get over to my group in the first place so we could order and finally comes over to take her time scanning IDs only to tell me mine was FAKE!! I asked “what are you trying to say” and proceeded to say with an aggressive attitude “I’m saying I’m not serving you” and then proceeded to make jokes about me to other customers sitting at the bar. My poor group of friends had already bought a game of pool they left behind after having to watch the treatment I received. Completely unprofessional behavior coming from someone who works for tips. I’m not sure if she was having personal issues and decided she didn’t like me or what because regardless of swearing I had a FAKE government ID she gave it back ?!? I would have rathered know of they are this rude about checking IDs they would stop the ACTUAL FAKE ids. Unfortunately due to this women neither myself or my friends will be back. After a long day working in the medical field this was the last thing I expected. A shame cause looked like...

I’m not sure where to start from the environment to the owners. Rack and tap is spectacular!!! Good is always great! The bartender and other staff are always in a good mood and fast to help, music is great! Can be a calm easy going night to having a blast! Not to mention the place is always clean! They have plenty of pool tables available even with big pool tournaments going on. Drinks are always made just right! Mrs. Bobbie and James the owners are so incredibly sweet and let’s not get me started on Mrs bobbies cooking 🤤🤤 she’s always goes above and beyond for her staff and customers! Thanksgiving lunches, to brunches for games and more! They have darts and karaoke. You can walk in by yourself and leave with a family behind you! Very supportive and caring people from the staff to the employees! Prices are great! Just remember if you like a tall mixed drink to ask for a pint glass or you may get there normal tall glass which isn’t what you expect.
