Captain D's — Restaurant in Lexington

We just came here with my elders from my church , they've been wanting a good fish meal. We were in a pickle of Time so we decided to just come here and settle for FAST food. We got here at 3pm and ordered a 10 piece shrimp dinner, just one shrimp for each elder. It's 6:10 now and we're still waiting. And our soda are a little watered down by now! We asked if they lost our ticket and instead on replying they shot one of the elders in the head with a hush puppy. After they fell to the ground all they did was put a " wet floor" sign on the elder and left them. Now we're late for church!!! Thanks a lot captain Ds. I never even got my fish after a 3 hour wait. Instead we shared the hush puppy that was thrown. Update : just got our food and it was free ,very happy with the turnout ! Great service. Update #2 : we are no longer happy !! One of our elders threw up from food poisoning and choked on his own vomit on his walk home from a mission trip in Africa, his remains were devoured by starving children. Truly tragic. Update #3: Yet another tragedy caused by this awful trip to captain Ds. One of our elders have developed PTSD from the experience. On the way to a mission trip to the beach they saw and fish and the flashbacks kicked in and they went into convulsions and couldn't control themselves and consumed a wild beach ferret. Update #4: another elder who was there has secluded themselves, scared by this event, and won't communicate to anyone except the town's local ant-eater figurine collector. Update #5: one of the other elders tramautized by the event decided to take their own lifes. They hung themselves with a string of lobster tenders from captain Ds (that took a 9 hour wait to recieve) and had a note on their shirt that read " this is all due to our captain Ds. If only I would've went into the chicken fighting business instead of the elder business and I could've avoided...

Had the worst Fast Food / Captain Ds Experience this past Saturday EVER! The “Manager” Seemed like she was high on drugs. First it started with he making corrections for the customer in the driver-thru, took only 20+ To Order our food, for her to put the order in Incorrectly & not understanding we wanted the “New” Family Meal that we Literally pointed to the sign/picture in lobby. The Other customer in drive thru came INTO the store complaining of sitting there for the past 30+ mins, manager then had them put yet another fish sandwich down for her. Our Order was ALL WRONG & we used a 25% Off the Entire Meal coupon for her to only use it on ‘One Small Drink” giving a whole 45 cents off.

Manager was Flustered, walked away. The other Manager refused to come the front. The staff member seemed as he were High too, prepared 4 small cups of ice for our 4 drinks…. was distracted & then made us only 2 Large Sweet Teas… we didn’t get all our food, there were several people waiting to order - I Gave Up.

Continued to watch her Bring out the WRONG Tray of Food to the next customer.

And NO ONE WASHED THEIR HANDS or Wore Gloves.

We have been going to this location for a LOT 20 + of years. But the last few visits were not good. But we try to overlook things like that, it can happen. But we just went there, at 2 pm today, 4/11/22. The girl working the window was so hard to understand at the speaker, she became very unpleasant. At the window she was again extremely unpleasant to speak to. I hate to say this but I have a feeling it was due to I am white. But it may have just been her personality. But either way she should not be working at a window, where people judge by their treatment if they will return. I asked her for a receipt, she very rudely said, it is in the bag. Also the large coke we paid $3 for 1. and upsized one for $60 cents, for were FLAT AS HELL. There were only 5 pieces of shrimp in our shrimp and fish meal. And the fish on my fish sandwich was so soppy it fell into little pieces. I do not know if it was just under cooked, but it was soggy. We do not think we...
