Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Lexington

If you like wasting your money, this is the place for you. I’ve lived in the area for years and eaten at this location many times, but lately it’s gone downhill fast. The last two times I’ve ordered a turkey sandwich, it came with almost no meat, literally one slice or a couple of paper thin shavings.

When I complained, the staff admitted they get complaints about this all the time. That tells you everything you need to know: this is an ongoing problem. Instead of remaking my sandwich, they made me pay extra for another slice of turkey and slid it across the counter so I could fix my half-eaten sandwich myself.

I’ve managed restaurants myself and would have fixed this on the spot, customer first, always. The manager here doubled down, refused to remake the sandwich, and told me to “call corporate.” If someone on my team acted that way, they wouldn’t be on my team long. This company is ripping consumers off.

Terrible value, terrible customer service....

This place used to be good. I actually looked forward to coming here every so often. I always order the exact same sandwich, for years now. It was not good the last time and worse this time. The bread was stale. There was so much lettuce and onions that it was almost all I could taste. The little bit of meat and cheese you get is pathetic compared to the mountain of lettuce and onions. And I love lettuce and onions but never before on this sandwich that I always get have they been so overpowering and so much of it. It's basically like Sub Station 2 was famous for - you got a little bit of meat and cheese and a TON of lettuce. Anyway, I won't waste anymore time...

This is the first time I've ordered from Jimmy Johns.

I placed an order for 3 sandwiches for delivery. 45 minutes after the my order was placed i go to check the status and it still had not been made. I wait another 5 minutes and check it said its now out for delivery. Another 20 minutes go by and i still have not received my food so i call the store to find out whats going on. The person i spoke with was the delivery driver and said he did not know why it said out for delivery and he hadn't left the store yet. After an hour and a half i still havent...
