i am still in disbelief over what i experienced on saturday august 24th. first off, i witnessed underage kids being let in by the dozen because they had student ids which were barely even glanced at. i am a TWENTY THREE year old girl who got turned down because i never went to college and did not have a student id. the bouncer, a blonde/gingery guy, on the shorter side, somewhat muscular i guess, with a tucan sharp hook nose, would not even look at my REAL id. he was very much on a power trip and was disrespectful in a way that was different from the other bouncers. i took one step because i thought he said i was good, he then grabbed my wrist so aggressively to the point where i could have almost reported him for it. he then proceeded to let two 18 year olds in (we had talked to them in the line) because they had a student id. it was clear that the bouncer enjoyed every minute of this. stop putting these 19 year olds in charge because they simply CANNOT handle it.

If you find yourself at Paddock, make it a point to connect with these two queens and share some uplifting...

Lucky me it was also the release of Fireball in Kentucky and Erick has a Fireball child shot machine 1st of its kind. Seemed like the Night was just destined for celebration of all sorts of freedom including mine of the marital variety. My friends and the staff at the Paddock ensured I celebrated my rebirth into society with a full spirit not only in body but also in my glass. It will forever be one of my fondest memories in Lexington... you cannot go out in that town without stopping in one of the greatest staples of the heart of the bluegrass. The Paddock Bar and Patio 5 stars doesn't sum...
