THE WORST PLACE EVER – HORRIBLE SERVICE AND COMPLETE DISRESPECT FOR CUSTOMERS! I have NEVER experienced such awful customer service as I did at Canes! This isn’t just bad service—it’s a slap in the face to anyone who chooses to spend their money here. The staff act like they were forced to work, showing zero respect and absolutely no interest in doing their jobs properly. The wait time was RIDICULOUS! After what felt like an eternity, I finally got my order, only to find that the food was cold, stale, and looked like it had been sitting out for hours. The fries were rubbery, the chicken was dry, and to top it off, they gave me the WRONG sauces. When I politely asked them to fix it, they didn’t even bother to apologize. They just stared at me with a blank expression, as if I was the problem! Cleanliness? A complete joke. The tables were sticky, trash was scattered everywhere, and the floor looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in days. The bathroom? Absolutely disgusting—I wouldn’t even send my worst enemy in there. FINAL VERDICT: Canes is a disgrace. They take your money, treat you like garbage, and don’t even have the decency to serve fresh food. If you value your time, money, and dignity, STAY FAR AWAY...

We were visiting from Cincinnati and always went to Cane's on Nicholasville Road. We dined there this past weekend and the experience was great. We decided to visit this particular Cane's because it was across the street from our hotel. The rug below the drink station was wet and the floor was very slippery and greasy under our feet. Watched several people sliding on the floor. Before my husband could get the words out about the condition of the floor, I went down on my hands and knees hard. My drink went all over me and floor. People came out afterwards, once my husband helped me up, but no one ever asked if I was hurt. As we were finishing our dinner, a gentleman came to the table and asked if I was OK. He identified himself as the General Manager but didn't give his name. I told him I was very sore from falling but would be OK. He said to let him know if anything happens to me as a result of the fall. That was it. I guess if the food wasn't so daggone good, I would be more upset. But I will never return to this particular location. The other Cane's in Lexington is always clean, always has Crew members cleaning and working our front and are...

I have always loved Cane's and was excited to try out this location. When we went up to order there was probably 3 or 4 different employees standing around looking confused. There was one employee who when we went up to the register that just said "Sorry, I can't take your order" and proceeded to step back and start talking with another employee. Then when another employee ended up coming back to take my order I asked if they could split the payment up between two cards. None of them seemed to know how except one employee who said it was possible. No one really seemed interested in making sure the customer was taken care of and we didn't end up getting to split the cost between two types of tenders we wanted to use. After we finally were able to get our order in and pay I noticed, like mentioned in a review 10 months ago, that the floors were slippery and greasy. After not too long of a wait our names were never called out loud (even though they took our names) and I looked to see our food sitting on the counter. Overall this was a very bad experience. If I didn't love their chicken and sauce I would never go back to...

I have heard a lot about Raising Cane's, and I love chicken tenders, so I was very excited to come try them out. I think something that is interesting about their establishment is that they do not have any other sauce than their Cane's sauce. Their specialty sauce is really good and goes well with the chicken and the fries. I got the Box Combo, which comes with four chicken fingers, crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast, and one cup of Cane's sauce. The Texas toast was very good. It was toasted perfectly and tasted great. Sometimes I get Texas toast that is too dry or too flavorless, but I did not experience that here. The crinkle-cut fries were also good. The chicken was honestly just okay. I was a little disappointed by it, but I also have been having an amazing local place that might have heightened my expectations. All in all, I think this was a great place to try out. I don't think I will seek out their locations like I know some people do, but I definitely enjoyed the meal for the pricepoint. The people working were also very nice, and the location itself was awesome and decorated with University of Kentucky memorabilia.

Raising Cane restaurant is the perfect place to bring your family. Decor is a little dated with the pictures of celebrities on the wall. Though the restaurant is cleaning itself and staff are very polite with customers that is. I ordered the combo box picture enclosed and it did fill me up but the chicken was soggy, not as crunchy as I expected it to be and quite greezy, almost too much so. French fries were good Crispin hot not too much salt that's a plus bread garlic bread was way too buttery way too much butter not enough garlic and too salty. The drink selection was mediocre. Mostly teas and sodas not much else menu should be updated. Also staff need to stop and her fighting in front of customers where it did not bother me it may bother other people coming in to enjoy a meal. I blame management for this if there was good leadership this would not be an issue. With restaurant being clean the food being edible I give Raising Cane's Chicken a three out of five stars. Nice experience but there is much room for improvement.

I was a little unsure what to eat in Lexington on this trip, thought I might have rather went to a local spot, but I'm really glad I gave this chain a try! I now like their chicken better than anything I can get back home. I had to wait 15 minutes for my taxi driver to get back on the highway before I could start eating, and the chicken was still so juicy it dripped down my chin when I took a bite! Pictured is the Caniac combo, with six chicken strips, lots of crinkle cut fries, slaw, toast, and two cups of sauce. I was impressed that they actually include enough sauce for all six chicken strips and most of the fries, and it's truly one of the best dipping sauces I've ever had for chicken (and copycat recipes are easy to find online if they're not local to you!). If you ask for ketchup it comes in nice dip packets too! It was a little more expensive than I thought it'd be at $18, but very well worth it because I was stuffed lmao. The crew were also very sweet, I would happily drive 4 hours to eat this chicken again :)
